Lucius skidded backward as two rampage beasts stuck at him. Unlike before, when he could take hits from them and absorb their energy by making contact, they didn't allow him to do that this time.

It felt like they had discussed it beforehand before coming here. Right now, they depended on rapid strikes and quick withdrawals, making it impossible for him to absorb substantial energy.

[This is not good…]. Lyxor warned.

"Tell me something I don't know." Lucius said with a deep frown as he watched the three Rampage beasts circle him.

The silverback Rampage beast stood at a distance, observing with a stern look in its eyes. Lucius was certain if there was a chance of him surviving, it would quickly interfere.

What was more disturbing was that other beasts were regaining their confidence, some even crawling over to Lia, who was still asleep.
