Royal Family

In the Royal Castle of Layutso, a soldier is currently kneeling in front of two individuals sitting on their thrones while a blond haired girl wearing a yellow gown standing besides them.

The King and Queen's faces turned pale when they heard the news being uttered by solider wearing full metal armor

"The Demon Lord Sutya-Madik has not been slain your Majesties and he is currently situated in the City of Yorta as we speak"

Standing up from his throne, the king questioned the soldier if the news was truly valid enough to be trusted.

"Yes, your majesty we were able to get the news from the words of the Adventures Guild Master Vir"

*Sigh*

Sitting back at his throne, the king told the soldier to get back at his post.

"You may leave now and go tell Vir to meet me at the royal headquarters at noon"

"Yes, your Majesty!"

Seeing the soldier quickly leave the throne room the king and queen started arguing with each other.

"I THOUGHT WE KILLED THAT PIECE OF SHIT ALREADY?!"

"HOW THE HELL WOULD I KNOW, LIVEY!??"

Watching her parents argue all over again the princess gave a news that further shocked the couple stopping them from bickering with one another.

"I haven't heard from Toya and the others fot the past two days.."

Hearing this horrifying news the King and Queen grabbed her shoulder and shook them as hard as they could for not telling them this valuable information sooner.

"W-WHY DIDN'T YOU TELLS US SOONER!!"

After a few minutes of shaking the princess the king returned to his throne while the queen stayed still, besides her daughter biting her cherry lips from frustration.

Putting his right hand up his forehead the king

spoke in a depressing manner.

"Then the heroes are dead.."

"And we no longer have the sword of destiny in our hands..."

"humanity is done for... without the sword we can't even begin to think about fighting the demon lord"

Hearing his husband in a grieving manner the queen asked the king a question

"Then how about summoning more Heroes?"

"It's no longer possible!, the ancient magic of summoning the Heroes has already been used up!"

"We will need to wait another 100 years! before we can summon them again!!"

Rubbing his temple to reduce some of the stress that he is experiencing, looking up at the ceiling of the room, the king saw the portrait of an army of heroes wielding different weapons of shape and sizes fighting a silhouette of man with white hair with a dull greyish eyes holding a book designed with demonic features and runes ingrained in each parts of the cover.

'How could it, come to this?'

'is this the last breathe of humanity after 50,000 years?'

The king depressingly thought for while before standing up from his throne and leaving the throne room in hastely manner.

Seeing that her husband is leaving the queen followed suit while the princess of Layotsa on the other hand is still in the room thinking to herself

'Toya please be safe...'

grabbing her necklace that was a gift given to her by the chosen hero Toya, the princess strengthed her resolve and ran outside of room catching up to her parents.

Zafrey looking at the very busy streets of the city of Yorta contemplated something.

'Just why is it, they are scared of me so much?'

'Looking at the reactions from both the two receptionist and at the heroes party, i should have look like someone that almost everyone knows about.'

While walking on the side walk he heard a group of children playing make believe in small play ground.

"Muahahahah, I'm the Demon Lord Sutya-Madik bow before me" a blue haired child wearing a black cape shouted at the group of kids playing the Heroes party.

"We won't let you get a way with this Sutya-Madik!, every one charge!" a red haired girl shouted to the boy and took up her toy wooden sword and charged at him.

After a couple of play making the red haired girl was able to slash the blue haired kid at the neck but just as the toy sword was about hit him she stopped

"The Demon Lord has been Slain!!" the red haired girl shouted with pride while raising her sword towards her other play mates.

Hearing that it was their victory the group celebrated in glee and hugged each other.

"Hurray, Glory be to Irus!!"

The blue haired kid begrudgingly stood up from the ground and patted the dust off

his stuck on his before finally approaching the red haired girls group

"Come on Merilda, Its my turn to be the Hero!"

the boy said to the girl named Merilda before opening his hands expecting her to give him the toy sword

"No, It's Grey's turn tomorrow!, you will have to wait until Reg's turn!" Merilda answered the blue haired boy with scorn before giving the toy sword to a boy with black hair making the boy cheer in excitement.

"Aaww, it's Grey's turn i wanted to have a turn too.." seeing that they were not chosen by Merilda some the kids in the group grumbled in disappointment.

However the blue haired boy was not having it and argued with Merilda for the sword.

"How Can this Be Merilda??, I've been the Demon lord for five days now! it's my turn to be the Hero!"

Zafrey however hearing the topic between Heroes and Demon Lords, Zafrey walked towards the play ground then approached the blue haired kid who is now sulking because he didn't get what he wants.

Merilda seeing that their was a stranger walking towards their group cautiously eyed Zafrey in case if he was one of those children kidnappers her Mama keep talking about.

Seeing the children being cautious of a stranger in a Hooded cloak, Zafrey complimented the parents for teaching the children the values of always being wary of strangers.

Crouching down to their level Zafrey asked the red haired girl a question

"Who is the Demon Lord Sutya-Madik?"

Hearing this odd question, Merilda stood out from her group and replied to Zafrey in confused manner.

"He is a very bad person who kills people and feeds children to his monsters, does mister not know who the demon lord is?"

Hearing this question Zafrey scratched his head and pointed at himself, while acting dumb towards the children

"I'm foreigner from far a way, this is the first time I've heard of the demon lord."

Merilda hearing the word foreigner, eyes sparked with joy and curiously asked him another question.

"A foreigner?!, Mister are you not from this country??, can you tell me whats its like outside of the country??!!!"

Feeling the girls excitement of the topic of other countries Zafrey didn't know how to answer her barrage of questions.

Now sitting on the floor of the dirt soil of the play ground and the children sat on the floor in front him, seeing that everyone was listening Zafrey told the story of his story on earth and describe to her the structures that could Pierce right into the clouds and the carriages that run on their own almost like their being run primarily only on magic instead of the dinosaurs.

Hearing such wonderful places being told to them by the mouth of Zafrey awed in amazement and bewilderment that their could a place like that in the world.

The group of kids no longer being cautious of him, started to cling to him like moths to light lamp asking questions and many many more

Seeing that he bit more than he could chew Zafrey coughed loudly to catch the attention of the children and to keep them silent.

*Cough*

"Now that i said all of my adventures to you, can you tell me what the demon lord looks like?"

Hearing this question Merilda raised her hand

before standing up from her lotus position and told Zafrey the description of the demon lord.

"My Mama said that the Demon Lord is a person with white hair and greyish almost blurry look on his eyes, My Mama said that if i ever see a person with White hair i should run back home as fast possible" Finishing her story before finally sitting on the floor waiting for him to talk again.

Thinking of the description of the demon lord provided to him by the demon lord, Zafrey eyes widened with surprised

'So the reason those guy were scared of me, is because i looked like the demon lord??'

Face palming Zafrey then looked at the group of kids sitting in the play ground floor and told them to go home

"Go home you children, it's getting dark you don't want to make your parents to get worried now would you?"

Agreeing with Zafrey, Merilda and the group stood up and left the play ground one while saying their good bye's leaving only Merilda and the Blue haired not leaving

Before Merilda however was about to leave he heard the stranger speak to her.

"Give him a chance to be a hero next." Zafrey said to Merilda while pointing at the blue boy who still sulking at the moment

Nodding her head, Merilda proceeded to elbow the blue haired kid in the stomach signaling him to tell her something

"Thank you Merilda" hearing this Merilda left the play ground with the boy while putting her shoulder over his neck while constantly teasing him.

Now that he was now the only one left in the play ground Zafrey started to return to the sidewalk looking for a book.

'I need to know more about this Demon Lord guy' walking for a solid 20 minutes around the block Zafrey shouted in his mind

'Where the FUCK!, is the Book store?! don't tell me they don't even sell books in this world?' looking around the streets Zafrey noticed something different.

A Sign with the Name (Situs's Antique and Alchemy) thinking that this was the best options he's got Zafrey opened the door to the store and was surprised by how organized everything was.

'Beakers, Bunsen Burners, Test tubes, Flasks, jars full of different herds and materials, this place could turn into a whole entire laboratory!'

Seeing the disguised figure a Man in his 30s with grey hair wearing a black tuxedo vest with white longs sleeves, formal pants and shoes, greeted his customer

"Good Afternoon, Sire what would you be buying today in Situs's shop?"

"I'm looking for books about alchemy and maybe some history about the kingdom"

Looking at the suspicious person top and down the man proceeded to walk inside the behind the counter leaving Zafrey looking at the equipment surounding his vicinity.

'the scientific development of this world is must be between the 18th century if they were able to create glass works like these just for the purposeful use of chemistry or should i say alchemy at this point?' Zafrey thought to himself before eyeing one of flasks containing some weird bluish liquid.

After a Minute of waiting the Store clerk returned from the room holding two books and placing them at the counter.

"50 Silver each" The man said to Zafrey before looking at reaction of the customer he is selling the rare books too.

hearing the price Zafrey was confused and looked at the clerk thinking that he was going to be robbed out of his money all over again

"Why is it expensive!?" Zafrey declared the the price of these books were outrageous in his standards

Knowing that this would happen the Clerk said to Zafrey in a mocking tone while slamming his hand at the counter

"If you ain't gonna buy it then you get the fuck out of my store!, I decided how much i sell these books for!"

Being surprised by the clerks stubbornness Zafrey smiled and then he looked at the condition the books the clerk gave him, he deduced that the books must at least cost only 20 silver.

"20 Silver for each of the books"

Hearing the Kid haggle his price, the clerk slammed his hand against the counter again trying to intimidate him

"Kid, this books are the last prints in the city, 50 silver is the best offer i could give you..!

"Oh really looking at the condition of these two books, it must had only cost you 20 silver to buy it from someone."

Seeing that the kid was trying to haggle his price the clerk recieved a tick mark on his forehead

'oh is this how it is ey, kid you wanna haggle?, i show you haggling!'

"40 Silver no deal"

"30 Silver, looking at the cover on one of book's it's been damaged from wear for a long time"

"35 Silver no deal"

"29 silver, for you being stubborn"

"You know what cancel the deal, I'm buying the books somewhere else"

hearing this the store clerk skipped a beat

"Fine kid, you win."

Feeling that he was not getting through with the kid, the store clerk sighed in disappointment and accepted Zafrey deal.

"30 Silver"

"Deal!"

Taking a gold coin from his cloak, he then gave the clerk his payment, while the clerk took out a pouch from under the counter and proceeded to give him his change

'40 silver...' Zafrey thought to himself while juggling the pouch to check if the amount was correct

*jingle, jingle*

hearing the sound of coins bouncing around the pouch Zafrey had a satisfied smile, before thanking the clerk

"Pleasure doing Business"

Taking the Books Zafrey infront of him Zafrey Left the shop feeling satisfied

Putting the books and punch of coins on his inventory Zafrey started walking towards the Pig's Beer and Tavern seeing that the sun is now going down

"I will stay in this world for a couple more days before i leave this place for good, sadly i couldn't join the adventurers guild, i wanted to kill some monster to earn more exp but those two ruined it for me." Zafrey said to himself preparing his next plan of Multiversal travel

'It's not like i need a adventurers card to kill monsters anyway.' Zafrey thought for while before having a shivering feeling that something bad is going to happen in the future.
