Chapter-56 The hidden truths out.......

David was now ready to share everything with them because he understood that hiding things won't help him, but rather make things difficult.

He went back to Era's room and was waiting for Ben and Eva. They both arrived and sat before him staring at him, David looked at them and asked,

"Why are you staring at me like that, well, I called you guys here to talk about something very important"

"hmm we are listening, David, you can start, "said Ben,

David brought some books and pens and kept them on the table, Eva was looking at him puzzled, then thought,

" is he going to take classes or give homework,"

but he said,

" Eva let us start with you, why did you change duty? and why we're you on the terrace?"

Eva kept silent for a while then said,

" I was curious about that nurse, Lucy, I just wanted to talk to her, so I joined the duty there, but I never went to the terrace, I don't remember how I ended up there, but wait, where is my phone? it can help us,"

David took out a broken phone and kept it on the table and said

"here is your phone Eva, I got this from the terrace it was already smashed when I got there."

Eva took her phone and looked at it,

" oh...my dear phone it's gone, but how could I see her message,"

David asked,

" whose message Eva, tell me clearly, everything not even a single word less"

Eva understood that he was serious, she started saying, and both of them were listening to her so interestingly, but when she said that she went to Suzie's room alone, both were furious, and shouted at her at once,

"How could you Eva? you never take anything seriously, do you know how dangerous it was, "

she hung her head down to her tummy, and said

" Will you guys let me complete what I was going to tell",

they sat in their places frustratingly, she continued,

" I went in to look for any possible thing that could help us, but that room was crystal clear, not even a single medicine, or at least its cover, nothing, it looked very weird to me, suddenly I heard someone coming there, so I rushed to the bathroom to hide, but there I saw...."

she stopped talking,

Ben and David were deeply immersed, they asked,

" you saw what Eva? , what happened then?"

she was stuck in her own words, now she had to find a way out, so she said,

"I saw a cockroach, and I was frightened,"

Ben and David were surprised to hear that, " what a cockroach, and feared for that" said Ben and started laughing,

Eva was furious and said,

" Shut up Ben , just get lost lf you don't want to listen,"

David stared at them

Ben said ,

" ok fine I'll keep silence"

Eva continued,

" I frightened , so I had no choice but to call Era because she is braver than me, I left a video message for her, and then what happened I don't know, so I was eager to see my phone if she left any messages, but I can't understand how did my phone get smashed,"

" let's try calling her," he said,

Eva took out the coat and wore it but nothing happened, they realized that Era is still not in the condition to come,

David continued,

" I wish she is fine when you were missing, I got a call from your phone, it was some lady, and after informing me she broke the phone, it is really strange, if she wants to help, why did she break the phone,"

Ben was listening to them, and after thinking for a while, he said,

" I think Era might have left a message, and the lady didn't want her message to reach you,"

"I need to fix my phone now, I have to see her message," said Eva.

" This case is mingled with Era's case, I just find out some really interesting things about Era,"

said David,

" what is it?" asked Eva curiously,

" I will tell you but it must be kept between us," said David

" hmm, ok fine," said Ben and Eva,

David continued,

"There is an eyewitness for that incident, we may find out the real culprit, with his help, I am going to meet him tonight, "

Eva asked,

" Who is that sir ?"

he said,

" the night watchman,"

Eva remembered something, and said ,

" Yes ,that man seem to be hiding something, I met him once,"

David continued,

"I went to doctor James's s office for lunch and we discussed Suzie's case and he unknowingly uttered about Era, he knows a lot of things about her,"

Eva thought for a while and said

" that James sir is Suzie's surgeon, I read it in her file, he was eliminated from that case soon after the Surgery,"

" hmm he said, Era went to him with a file recorded after his elimination, with the same doubt, that I have right now."

" which doubt? " Ben asked,

" do you know, these medicines Ben, what are they used for? and what happens if it is given regularly and in an excessive dose "

he gave a note to him,

Ben looked at it very carefully and said,

" ya, these are the medication used for mentally retarded people, and long-term usage may cause heart damage, and excessive long-term usage can even put the patient in a coma, it's dangerous"

Eva kept her hands on her face in shock,

" oh my god, I can't believe something like this is happening in our hospital, no wonder they keep her records a secret, but why ? and how could they? "

David said,

" There must be some bigger things behind this, they didn't even hesitate to take lives"

Ben was frustrated,

" Who are those people, guys this is illegal, how could they do that, "

David said,

" yes Ben it is illegal, but we don't have any proof, I lost that file during my accident, at first I thought, James is involved with this and he may be the culprit or a companion, but after meeting him I understood that he is a victim himself" he sighed,

Eva asked Ben, " what if we stop the usage of the drugs can we receive her back ?"

Ben said, " I can't say but at least we can stop further damage and help her recover, there will be some brutal damage as it was given for years but she could live her life, and maybe she could get better too, "

Eva heard Ben saying that and thought for some time and said,

" I will help her, "

they both shouted at her at once,

"shut up Eva, don't cause any more trouble"

she sat silently again,

David continued,

" I wish that we can clear this mess as soon as possible,"

Eva said, "I have something to say,"

they said," what is it now Eva "

" it's fine I won't say anything," she said angrily, Ben saw her being angry and asked,

" what is it, tell me, and I'll listen to you"

Eva smiled at him and was happy to have a supporter, and said,

" you remember I found a pendant at the mortuary, I found its owner, you'll be shocked to know who that was,"

"Who?" they asked,

she smiled and said,

" Serra, she is Suzie's sister,"

David was shocked to hear that, but Ben could hardly understand what she was saying, he kept quiet just to show support to Eva, she noticed that and explained everything to him, while they were talking, David was in his world of mysteries.

They spoke out about all the things that were hidden inside them and that helped them a lot to analyse that case...
