Chapter- 51 Eva back to home ........

Eva tried a lot but couldn't sleep, whenever she closes her eyes, Ben's face flashes in her eyes..

" uhh... is he a ghost, why is he haunting me.... why did I do that..... just why?" she was struggling with her own thoughts,

Ben was unable to sleep either, he kept thinking about Eva and couldn't sleep, those two were struggling with their love battles, and there was someone who couldn't sleep a wink because of the tragic things happened to him.

Next day morning, there was a knock on the door, Eva struggling with her sweet dreams, got up from her bed, closing her eyes, she opened the door, the caretaker said,

"Is this Eva Fernandez, there is a visitor for you," Eva opened her eyes ,

" who?" Eva asked.

"I don't know , he said you know him ,come and see for yourself,"

the caretaker said.

Eva was curious to know who that was, she just wrapped a blanket and followed her, when she went there ,steve was waiting for her. she saw him and said,

" can't you call me ,....Do you have to woke me up , uhh...i was sleeping,"

Steve frustatingly said,

"have you seen your phone.?...how many times did I called you?....and what time is this? .....I told you,... I'll pick you up at ten in the morning and now it's eleven, and look at yourself ....you are not even ready yet... before I burst out.... go and get ready Eva , you have ten minutes to go,"

Eva rushed back to her room to get ready, she thought,

"weekend is worst than the week days....., I wish I could sleep some more..aahh,"..

She came back to him , with half eyes opened , Steve laughed at her, and said,

" Is this how you get ready it was better when you wrapped the blanket."

she annoyingly said,

" shut up Steve, you already ruined my mood..."

They both got in the car and left from there, when they reached her house, it was not less than a palace.

She was still sleepy, when she saw her father standing in front, she ran with excitement and jumped on him to hug him,

"Dad I missed you...I missed you so much,"

" I miss you too sweetheart, uhh I wish I can see you, daily," he said.

They went in and Eva rushed to the hall and sat on her favourite chair,

" hmm....I missed it too...."

"This is the reason why I told you come home often, .... but you just need something to run away," her dad said,

" oh ..come on Dad...stop nagging....see I am here... before you", Eva said,

" Eat something Eva , I know, you didn't have your breakfast," said Steve,

Her Dad looked at her,and said,

" It's half passed eleven and you didn't had your breakfast.....how can a doctor be that careless about health...uhh ...I made a wrong decision in sending you away..,"

Eva looked at Steve furiously,

" It's not like, I do that every day Dad, yesterday night I was unable to sleep, because of some shocking news.....so I got up late,... isn't it Steve" she looked at him sarcastically,

" what shocking news Eva...is it serious...? " concerned her father,

Eva was trying to say something but Steve interrupted her,

" ya...there was an emergency last night ...is everything fine,"

" you do know a lot of things about my hospital don't you , who told you?, Lara", said Eva,

Steve made a grunting sound and went to his father,

" Dad I think we need to discuss something"

They both went to the study to discuss something, Eva was back to her home after a long time, she looked around, had her breakfast and then went to her room , it was so neatly arranged, like how she left.

She noticed that, there are some new dresses in her wardrobe, she thought,

" what are they planning today, last time I saw new dresses, I was sent to a blind date.....now what....., a marriage."

She saw her bed and jumped on it , " it's been a while.....aahhh...it's good to be home, "

she was about to sleep again but, someone knocked at the door , one of the servants said,

"ma'am, sir asked you to get ready," Eva was shocked...

"what..!!..get ready....but why?" Eva asked,

That lady said, " Sir, said that, he arranged a small get together party today, so he asked you to be ready before lunch",

" but ...hey wait....", Eva shouted but that lady left without listening,

She sighed,

" ahh ....I came here for a weekend....I don't want to attend his stupid parties .... it'll be a business party , I'll get bored to hell...uhh, why did I come..."

It was nearly afternoon, her Dad send the servants one by one every ten minutes to remind her, now Eva understood that she has no way out.

So she got up and dressed, and was ready to complete the formality to attend the party, she went down, hesitatingly, There were so many people in the hall, she thought,

" oh...so it started already, let's just pretend to be attending and then go back",

Her Dad saw her getting down and called her to come to him, she went straight to him, he was talking to a man standing beside him,

" Here young man , this is my daughter, I wanted to introduce to you", that young man turned back to see her, but.....

Eva went near to say hello, but....

They both were shocked to see eachother, .....that man was David and he was shocked to know that Eva is his mentor's daughter. She kept both of her hands, on her face , David took one of her hands ,

"hello miss Fernandez, " he said sarcastically,

Eva replied , keeping her head down, " hello David sir",

she turned back and started running out side, but bumped into someone, who was entering the hall just now, he catched her in his arms, Eva closed her eyes, he said,

" so.... you do this every time.....you see me",

she opened her eyes, and saw his face,

" Ben ,why are you here?" she said shockingly ,

she was confused , and continued her running to the garden, after a while, Steve came and sat beside her, she saw him ,...jumped on him... holding his neck,

" I'll kill you Steve....why didn't you tell me...that Dad planned something like this ...."

Steve shouted,

" Stop it Eva ....ahh...let me explain...." ,

she sat normally, but her cheeks were like a balloon out of anger,

Steve sighed,

" come on Eva it's not like you are getting married today, he called them, so that you can make a choice....",

She looked at him confusingly, "choice !!. ...on what?"

she asked him curiously,

He continued, " Oh come on Eva, we are not kids, we know it all,"

she thought that Ben might have uttered something before his uncle and they are urging for a marriage, but choice, to marry him or not, she was befuddled,

Steve started talking again,

" look ...it's your choice, it's your life , we will never force you....you should have told me atleast, I would have talked to Dad, you know I am always your bestfriend..."

She looked at him confusingly,

" so it's my choice... my life... right, so I choose not to marry for now, " she said.

Steve hold her face with his hand like a puppy, and said,

" Eva we believe in your choice, Dad was so happy to hear that , he liked him too, so don't worry and ..... don't you dare to say that you won't marry ...hmm... because, I don't know why, but Dad is really serious about your marriage this time"...

" He just uttered something...it's all rubbish...no ...not this soon" , she said,

Steve asked,

"He..... who?....he didn't say anything, actually he don't even know that Dad called him for this, we heard it from somewhere else,... actually whole hospital knows about it",

she stood up surprisingly, "what.....?!"....she don't have words to say now...

" but how...uhh those rumours...I know this is going to happen.....what should I do now?"

Steve was annoyed now ,

" Enough of your drama, Eva,... now just get up and let's go in"

She got up and followed him, they went in , she was babbling,

" I know you guys will never let me be free....uhh why did I come here"

Steve said " shut up Eva , ....we are inside.... "

They went to her father and

he said,

" So, how is the surprise my darling,"

she was staring at Ben ,her father continued,

" don't worry about him, I called them to make it clear that you selected your life partner,I am sure he'll understand" ,

Eva heard that and was wondering that she heard wrong...her father called David and made him stand beside her and said,

" I am happy for you guys, now no need to be formal, I know you like eachother, just be happy..."

They both shouted at once,

" what.....!!!"....

...........
