While Others Are Increasing Their Rank: I'm Creating A Game

In a world where some people possess extraordinary abilities such as controlling air, manipulating water, or having a superhuman physique, how can an ordinary and average person without such talents survive? In 1982, the world entered a new era as some individuals began exhibiting unusual powers. However, this ability only appears in one out of every thousand humans. Governments worldwide agreed to assign ranks to those who possessed these powers to maintain peace. Some individuals, known as S-ranks, possess exceptional abilities and are considered all-powerful by ordinary people. Despite the presence of these extraordinary beings, peace still prevails in society. Cedric Jacquier, a non-manifested individual, had one dream - to create a game and earn money. However, his dream was shattered when his old computer broke down, along with his three-year game project. Cedric was once again left in despair due to his misfortune. Cedric fainted due to malnutrition and health problems. Strangely, a blue window screen appeared before him. Cedric decided to recreate the game he had lost. This led to the creation of a hyper-realistic game that could transport users to another world. The game was called "Atlas" and it quickly gained popularity, with both ordinary people and enthusiasts eager to purchase the game capsule and experience the alternate reality. Despite assistance from the system, Cedric found that creating the game was still a challenging task. He had to develop a compelling storyline, design characters and NPCs to drive the plot forward. Despite facing many challenges, Cedric's determination and use of the Game Creator System enabled him to develop a game that has attracted over 5 billion players worldwide. It is renowned for its incredible graphics and lifelike quality, as well as its captivating plot and storyline. Prologue 1: "Atlas" The game known as "Atlas" and dubbed "with the title "Another World" was renowned for its hyperrealistic graphics. Both individuals with manifested abilities and regular people were able to enjoy the game. "Well hello there folks, welcome to Tonight's show with me your host. Michael Moore, and for our special guest the one and only! The Creator of Atlas with over 3 billion players worldwide! Mr. Cedric Jacquier!" The crowd cheered, many players who experienced the game Atlas were all excited to finally see the mysterious creator. As the red curtains were drawn, many gasped in awe, particularly the female players and audience. Meanwhile, the male audience felt envious. "Ohh hello there Mr. Jacquier, it's nice to finally meet you!" "The pleasure is mine." Cedric and Michael were seated on the sofa, and Michael's excitement was palpable upon seeing Cedric's arrival. He was also one of the select few players in the game. "Talent, wealth, skills, and a man with good looks. Truly you are blessed in many ways, Mr. Jacquier" "Well, I wouldn't call blessed." "Can I ask Mr. Jacquier? Where did you get the idea of creating Atlas?" "Well Michael, It's a long story. Well, I first created Atlas on my computer, it was a 2d game. Then from one problem rose another." "Oh, what kind of problems were there Mr. Jacquier?" "My computer got damaged, erasing the game from its data." "I see, but there are many news that you manifested is that true Mr. Jacquier?" "Nope, I'm not one of the manifested individuals. I'm just a common man, who created a game." "Then can you tell us how you became one of the richest men in the world?" "Well, Michael...In short, when others were busy trying to increase their ranks, I was busy creating the game." .... Chapter 10: White Wolf

Dux persisted in wriggling his hands through the slimy, green water. Despite its repulsiveness, replete with bones and even a tree, Dux persisted in his exploration.

'I've been given this second chance by the goddess, I will not waste it!'

Dux kept moving his hands until he was able to grasp a handle.

Dux pulled the unknown item and it was the axe he used for hunting.

"It seems like the Ogre also swallowed it."

Dux had obtained a weapon, an axe which he wielded in an attempt to inflict a wound to the ogre's stomach. However, he was surprised to find that the creature's skin was much more resilient than he had initially anticipated.

"It's tough; the axe can't injure it."

Despite the failure of the axe, Dux remained determined to find a way to overcome the obstacle. He believed that even the strongest individuals have weaknesses or vulnerable points. For Dux, who values perseverance, this setback was insignificant.

"Your skin might be tough, but what if I try slashing it 1,000 times? Don't tell me it's not going to work, cause even the strongest creatures will fall into the hands of someone who has wits and perseverance!"

"Hyahhhh!"

Dux repeatedly punched the stomach, determined to escape no matter how long it took. He thought about the worried expressions of his companions and knew they were searching for him at this very moment.

"I must go home!"

[Perseverance Trait activated!]

Cedric was facing difficulty in locating a fitting body to inhabit. The area lacked any animals, except for birds and insects which were not suitable due to their limited intelligence and other reasons.

Cedric kept on scrolling through the map. This was a second chance, he couldn't let Dux die yet again!

"Any animal that can fight will do, even a monster would suffice just give me something to possess!"

As he kept on scrolling through the planet, Cedric found inside a cave near the ogre. But what was intriguing was the creature inside the cave...

"Hyahh!"

The activated trait of Dux allowed him to keep hitting the tough skin of the ogre. Initially, the skin was impenetrable and he couldn't inflict any damage. However, by persistently attacking a specific spot, he was finally able to create a small slash mark on the ogre's skin.

Dux began to believe that repeatedly striking the same spot on the ogre's tough skin would improve his chances of breaking through.

"Hyahh!"

Plop...Plop...

"What is going on?"

As the slimy green water heated up, bubbles started to form and it boiled vigorously. Dux could even feel the heat coming off of the water.

Dux felt a sense of impending danger and quickened his pace. He tightened his grip on the axe and relentlessly struck the same spot.

"I need to go home, everyone....everyone is waiting for me to come home!"

[You can enter Wolf's consciousness]

"Finally!"

There was a massive white wolf that measured 200 centimeters in size resting inside the cave. Cedric's surroundings distorted and he shut his eyes. When he reopened them, Cedric found himself inhabiting the body of the white wolf.

"I have paws now..."

'The wolf has good skills... But enough of its stats, for now, I have to save someone!'

As Cedric ran, he checked the mini-map provided by the system. He sprinted, leaping from rocks and logs on the ground. Cedric was becoming more adept at controlling the movements of the wolf's body.

"It's getting hot here.."

Dux was sweating profusely and his stomach felt like it was boiling. His limbs and feet felt like they were immersed in boiling water, the heat caused his feet to burn.

Although it was difficult, Dux persevered in striking the same area on the ogre's skin. Initially, the wound was small, but with each repeated hit, the scar grew larger.

"Hahh..."

As Dux continued to strike the ogre's skin, the ogre suddenly shifted, causing Dux to lose his balance.

"Ughh what's going on?"

The movements of the ogre were causing Dux, who was trapped inside its stomach, to be jostled around in all directions.

[My creation, fear not, help is here..]

"Goddess? Are you here?"

Dux could hear the voice of the goddess, and he knew that she would always watch over them. However, it had been a week since she had given them her last task.

[I'm here, just hang on tight.]

"Y-yes!"

"Grahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!"

Dux heard the Ogre's furious yell and inferred that it had come across an enemy.

Cedric stepped back from the ogre as a tree branch struck him, causing him to lose 5,000 health points.

"Ouch, his attack dealt a significant amount of damage and caused a noticeable decrease in my health.."

Cedric taunted the enemy by tapping his feet and using the "Taunt" skill. This caused the ogre to become furious and begin attacking.

The ogre wielded a tree trunk and started utilizing it as a weapon.

Cedric, in the form of a wolf, possessed heightened senses which allowed him to evade the ogre's swings successfully.

'Die!.."

"Grahhhhhhhh!!"

The ogre continued to yell and squirm, consumed with anger and the desire to devour the wolf standing before it. He wanted to see this wolf which he deems inferior beg for mercy as he eat its flesh and crunch on its bones.

"Grahhhhhhhh!"

With its ear-defining roar, the ogre rushed at the wolf and started using the tree's trunk to hit the wolf.

'You can't hit me!'

Cedric's wolf body had impressive agility stats, allowing him to dodge every attack from the ogre. Not only had Cedric's instincts merged with that of the wolf, but he had also gained fragments of the wolf's memories.

Cedric unleashed his powerful Wolf's Mighty Roar skill, causing shockwaves to ripple toward the ogre. The ogre was so overwhelmed by the deafening sound that it covered its ears in pain.

[Stun Effect has been triggered]

[The ogre will be stunned for 2 seconds.]

'This is my chance!'

Without any delay, Cedric sprinted forward and bit the ogre's hands off of its body.

Green blood spurted from the ogre's right hand as the ogre shouted in agony.

'Yuck'

The scene was almost too graphic for Cedric to handle, so he used the system to pixelate the hand and the unpleasant contents spilling out.

Cedric was accustomed to witnessing blood, having worked in numerous construction sites where workers sometimes got injured while handling heavy materials.

But this was the first time he ever got too close to such a gnarly scene, and he was the one who caused it!

Cedric spits the ogre's hand on the side, the ogre was covering his right hand which is still gushing out blood.

Feeling pain for the first time since he was born, the ogre became furious and scared. He was always the top predator, no one could beat him until now. It was the first time he felt fear.

"Grahhhhhhhh!"

The ogre holding his right hand leaking with green blood shivered in fright, he had the thought of running away.

Instead of attacking, he turned around and started to run away.

As the ground trembled, Cedric struggled to maintain his footing. He was amazed to see the ogre flee after their encounter. This had been Cedric's first fight, and he was proud not only to have inflicted severe harm on his opponent but also to have displayed impressive skill.

'Oh no, you won't!'

Cedric started sprinting, pushing himself to run faster. He was gaining on the ogre, who turned to look at him and began running even faster than before.

Cedric continued to sprint and quickly caught up to the Ogre. Without hesitation, Cedric used his sharp teeth to bite the Ogre's feet, causing the Ogre to feel intense pain and fall to the ground.

"Grahhhhhhhh!!!"

With its painful tone, the ogre was now on the ground squirming trying to stand up.

Cedric was aware that if the Ogre rose again, it would lead to a prolonged and difficult pursuit. He grew concerned for Dux, who remained within the Ogre's stomach. To prevent the Ogre from escaping, Cedric tightly grasped onto its leg using his claws.

Without delay Cedric began to bite the leg, he used his huge teeth to grip the leg as tight as he could, and using all his strength he pulled the ogre's calves

He couldn't manage to bite off the whole leg due to the toughness of the skin.

The ogre had no right calf, and green blood kept spurting out of his right hand and right calf. The ogre was sweating, his eyes scared of the creature in front of him.
