Chapter 54: Rewards and A Disobedient Little Sister
Luckily, this time I came back home early, so I wouldn't encounter that cosmic horror upon arriving home.

Hitomi: "Oh? Onii-Chan, you're here so early. Aren't you going to do your training or bad boy stuff?"
*Crack*
I could feel a vein pulsating on my forehead.
Tadano: "Since when am I a bad boy?" I asked.
Hitomi: "You know... lately, you go out and don't come back until very late, if that's not what a bad boy does then I don't know what it is. I'm just warning you that I won't pay your bail if the police catch you," the girl said nonchalantly.
Tadano: "Oh? So you'd let your brother rot in jail?"
Hitomi nodded.
*Ding*
"[The Defilerof the Sacred] urges the host to push down this audacious little sister and show her who's boss. [The Defilerof the Sacred] starts drooling just thinking about the image as she eagerly rubs her thighs"

Ignoring my spectators, I approached my little sister.

I said as I jumped on Hitomi.
Learning from my quick reflexes to escape from mom, she jumped to the side and started running away.
Tadano: "Come here, little devil. Today I have to show you my majesty as the older brother!" I said as I chased her at a slow pace.
Hitomi: "Don't even think about it, Baka," she said mockingly as she stuck her tongue out in a teasing gesture.
Our mother watched us from the side with a happy smile on her face.

*Tadano POV*
I was in the classroom exchanging notes with Komi-San, it had become somewhat habitual lately.
With the intelligence I currently had, it was easy for me to memorize the texts and formulas taught in class. And on Komi-San's side, she preferred to spend more time with her friends than paying attention in class; she even told me that if there was anything she didn't understand, she would ask me to teach her.
Lately, Komi-San had been becoming more open, thanks to Yamai, she had been able to become friends with the trio of friends who were always with Yamai. Shinobino, Charai, and Sonoda.
The three of them usually brought her study notes, manga, or music recommendations, which Komi-San gladly accepted.
It's nice to see her growing little by little.

At the first recess, we decided to have lunch together. Komi-San sent a message to her friends, and after gathering a few tables, we were able to sit together.
While we ate and chatted, Komi-San gave me a strange look.
I could sense the reason without even using my ability.
Nene and Kaede were sitting close to me, particularly Kaede was almost clinging to me, sharing her food with me and taking small bites of what interested her from my bento.
Nene took care of Kaede and occasionally offered me some of her bento.
These somewhat conspicuous reactions from the duo of friends caused strange looks from the others, especially Agari and Yamai, who seemed more jealous than surprised.
Najimi made a few teasing comments but didn't worry too much about the matter.
Komi-San, on the other hand, had turbulent emotions.
After being pensive for a moment, she offered me a piece of octopus-shaped sausage.
Everyone was surprised by her bold action.
Then she put her chopsticks with the sausage in front of me. Although she didn't say anything, it was obvious what she wanted.
Shrugging, I ate it.
As I chewed, I praised her for the taste.
She blushed and nodded happily.
Then she continued eating in silence.
*Third Person POV *
Unbeknownst to Tadano, Komi-San discreetly hid those pair of chopsticks under her desk. She planned to wrap them delicately and save them for future use...
However, all her movements were caught by a pair of astute emeralds.
