Chapter 7: Solving the Mess
Michael was breathing heavily and he can't take any attack that owen might do "huff huff" he wipes his sweat and stare at Owens back he sigh from relief when he saw ria and paul coming near the ground "tired already what a weak guy and why are you smiling" owen ask and put the sword at the back of his shoulder
"well my master is here to fetch me" Michael answered and sat down from the ground he was really tired though they only fought for like 10 minutes he was really worn out by owen
"hmm who" he ask and looks around "ah who's that beautiful lady" when he saw ria that was coming at them he ask "my beautiful master" Michael smiled "You done well my aide" ria came near them and saw Michael lying down at the ground while breathing and sweating so much she was now facing a red haired man with black eyes "And who are you milady" owen ask so ria sigh "How rude of you,even if your an imperial knight shouldn't you atleast show some respect to a royalty and im his master by the way" ria said and gave the sword she was holding to sir paul "is that so" owen replied
Ria didn't mind and walk pass him to help Michael stood "your late princess"he said and ria sigh "im having irrational thoughts just so you know Michael but im stopping myself before i cause the deaths of my people"ria and she stared at owen who was staring at her like some kind of art
"just sit down and relax I'll show you how i deal with this problem in a rational way"Ria proudly said and smiled, She hold her hair up and tie it first like a pony tail and then she stare back at owen who was watching her and she looks around at the other knight who was still fighting,the other servants were skilled as well since ria hired them to be a part time knight
She was wearing her black pants and black shirt so she was ready to have a sword fight witt them "hey why don't you stop harassing my servants and do some training with me and my knight" she loudly scream at them so they stop and look back to see her "your your highness' the servants were delighted to see her
"eh that can't be your a princess" owen spoke 'tsk yes im a princess and yet you still disrespect me' ria thought "hah i should beat you first so the rest will believe me" ria lost her temper from the annoying guy in her front,sir paul came near her and gave her sword "you'll be my first opponent sir" ria declares and start attacking
"swoosh" she was swift as the wind, owen was surprised and defended her attack "clang cling clang" ria just kept on attacking him he was strong for her but she uses wind magic to help her push her strength "hmm" owen was a bit troubled her moves and sword styles were difficult to handle and there was something that kept him under pressure while fighting her "swoosh"owen counterattacks but he was surprised when the sword that he used were having crack like the slashes were so heavy that the sword might break
He was in dazed and so ria took this as an opportunity to attack "clang" his sword flew in the air and owen was staring at ria's sword which was aiming at his neck "I lost" he surrender that made the other knights in shock. Owen might be troublesome but he was strong to defeat 10 men on his own he was stronger than the other knights so if he lost it was like the other guys were hopeless to win the fight
"So will your training stop oh wait there are still 4 other guys right,sir Paul can you help them in their training if you lose i can replace you" she sweetly said and sir paul just bowed
"I'll be your training partner instead of these men, you can attack altogether since I'll be able to handle you four"he said without batting an eye his cold face stared at the four who was clicking their tongues like they saw something strange still they hold their swords and face sir Paul with their serious faces
Ria puts her sword down and stare at sir paul who was about to start his match, owen was just in dazed looking at her "um princess who are you" he ask "oh right i haven't introduce yet im astria faith felice, the only Princess of this kingdom"she smiled with a pissed face so owen noticed it and just pretend to look calm "ah princess astria, it's nice meeting you i didn't know the princess here was strong,im owen im a knight serving under the Emperor but im a commoner so im sorry for my rude behavior" he said and scratch his head
'no wonder' Michael thought ,he was a few inches away sitting from them but he can hear them "oh i thought you were just being sarcastic but i guess not so it's fine,why are here at the training ground aren't you tired from your journey" she ask "were tired a bit all of the knights are but they wanted to take a bath and enjoy their foods so they didn't came here most of us are used in traveling to far away lands so they don't tire easily anyway my other team is about to lose i bet your knight is strong too" he said and look at the match
"clang swoosh" each and one of them were loosing their swords and was sweating "well before sir Paul became my knight he was once a soldier roaming in the battlefield so i don't know if you and your team are much more experienced than him" ria explained. "that must be why his aura are similar to ours" he said and then smiled widely when his teams lost "they lost hahaha this is surprising" he said then ria spoke
"since your training ends you should return now and rest and please don't make a fuss about what happened here" ria so owen just smiled "sure princess also you better be careful i don't know what the emperor is thinking but if he saw you maybe he'll accept any offer if you'll be item" he said that confuse ria
"hey guys let's go back were done here for today" he screamed so loud that ria covered her ears "we'll take our leave sir" the four men bowed to sir paul and went near to Owen and ria while sir Paul was helping the servants to stand since they were laying on the ground and was exhausted
"Princess" they bowed to greet her they must have heard the servants calling her when she arrived earlier "we'll go back to rest then your highness" owen said and bowed as well
"and your highness your very beautiful that can attracts a lot of men but the thing that attract me most to you is your pure mana so hide it well bye then" he said and pulled the shoulders of his team "ah bye then princess" they said and just followed owen back to the palace, Ria was shock that someone has sense her mana which she was hiding and she was more nervous to meet the emperor cause the possibility of being recognized by him is very close especially if her mana will be sense by that guy
Owens warning were like threat for her since if she'll be caught by the emperor the consequences are unimaginable "princess are you alright" sir paul ask when he came back to her "ah yes im fine what about you" "im not hurt but why are you pale" he ask with worried look "well im just nervous but I'll be fine let's take Michael back at the palace before we meet the emperor here"ria so paul called Michael so that they can return
"Princess what did he say to you" Michael was asking ria while they sat in the office ria was still having a blank expression. "he just told me that im a valuable item that can be used as an offer to exchange for peace" she said like she lost her mind "huh what"Michael was shock "i think i can ask for peace but the emperor must also want to slit my neck since i hurt him at our first meet up"she said and now Michael was acting like he lost his soul and didn't respond to her
"I want to hug lina please excuse me your highness"Michael suddenly stood and bowed then he left leaving ria with a gloomy look "well i better not leave my palace or things will get more worse if the emperor found out that the assassin is the princess,where did my proud self go promising to protect my home when i just caused a big trouble ughh i hope father and brother can win him over" ria sigh and was reflecting of the things she had done .....
