Forming a Team 14.1

"Uh, yeah...um I remember you two."

"Good, we first wanted to thank you for saving our lives and to show our thanks we are going to join you." Jasmine said shamelessly.

"I mean yeah, have you seen this place

Its smells... like BORING! I mean what kind of house doesn't even have a smell?" Lisa was apparently a smart and noticed there wasn't a woman's touch anywhere in sight.

"Well, mind your own busi-" Qwen started to say but the energetic twins was having none of it.

"Do you cook? I'm starving I remember when my mo-...when I learned to cook breakfast."

Lisa started to say but got choked up on her words. Qwen pretended not to notice the change. Jasmine smiled when she saw this.

Qwen was going to look for the twins anyways just to make sure they were okay. Now that they were here he could do just that.

<Jasmine Level 4>

<Lisa Level 5>

"So, you two have been battling dungeon monsters alone? From level 0!"

By now the how was filled with the aroma of bacon and eggs from the System shop for a few gold. Qwen stopped going to the grocery store after finding this out.

"Well, yeah isn't that what you wanted right?" Jasmine asked almost pleading tears filled her eyes but she fought them back.

Qwen looked over at Lisa who was the same. They were looking to him for approval of their actions. Qwen blushed and looked away. He had no idea how to to console someone who lost their families. Let alone two kids.

"That's what you said on T.V! That we had to fight if we wanted to survive! We won't let what happened to mama and papa happen to anyone else!" Lisa screamed in anger and frustration.

At those last words the girls broke down and ran towards Qwen. He held him and they both cried incoherently. It seems like they hadn't even had time to vent their parents. They put their pent up emotions into grinding level. They repressed what happened all the way until now it seemed.

Eventually, even Qwen began to cry and hugged them back. He let out all of his loneliness, all of hate for him wasting away his life for not trying and blaming other people, for not saving their parents, for not keeping in touch with his only known family, for all the lives lost simply because they were born and forced to live in the year 2021 when the world was projected to end.

They cried for hours until they finally stopped. Still sniffling Qwen finally spoke up.

"Yeah, that's what I wanted. I'm forming a team dedicated to battling dungeons monsters. Your hate for these monster have to defy reason because we will be undertaking unimaginable dangers. We will be seeking out monster to grow stronger. The monster have gotten stronger so we must do the samething. We only have 24 days until the Break.

We have to form a party of 7. We have two down so five more. We need to also make sure they are reliable and trustworthy. The next person we are looking for is Davis. I am going to search for these people on my own. I'll leave you with my credit card so that you can order anything you need here. Don't leave under ANY circumstances. I have cameras at the door so that you both can see who comes from the front and the back.

"But what can't we go!" Lisa complained.

"Because I need you both here so that you can train. Now accept my party invite."

<Jasmine has joined your party.>

<Lisa has joined your party.>

"Train?" They both said simultaneously.

"Yes. I need you both to show me your skills and spells. Lets head out back."

Qwen cast a thick fog but the three of them could easily still see each other. Both the girls gasped.

"What!" Lisa screamed.

"Oh my God!" Jasmine said at the same time.

"You didn't have have to move or chant a spell!"

"How?"

"We can talk about that later. For now we are here for you two."

Jasmine took out two short swords from her inventory. They were very basic swords and only had sharpening and minor durability enchantments. Lisa used a bow but hers was fairly strong for an early level bow. It also spoke to her ability to use it as a starter weapon.

After learning what he had about spirit techniques, these were perfect for the twins and himself. If he wasn't rolling in dough. Purchasing these techniques would have taken him countless years to accumulate the gold for them.

Qwen purchased three cultivation techniques. He nearly had a heart attack though. He spent 600,000 a piece on each of the three Emperor grade cultivation techniques! He purchased knowledge based books on the history of cultivation, hand to hand, and meditation skill books for the thee of them also. These also cost a whopping 100,000 GP each!

His soul bled as his funds depleted so fast.

He could purchase skill point tokens for a whopping 100,000 GP. He grit his teeth closed his eyes and purchased 40. He was now almost flat broke. He had only 100,000 left after his spending spree. He still had over $100,000,000.00 in his personal bank account.

"Now skill books can be absorbed directly similar the game. I want you two to take a cultivation technique each.

"Jasmine you will take the 'Dual Fated War God' sword technique first. I want you to read all of these books after absorbing the techinque.

Lisa you take the 'Heavens Deity Flash' bowman technique."

The girls did exactly as he asked and winced in pain for long minutes at the overload of information rushing into their brains.

"Allow me access to your skills."

The girls both wore determined looks on their faces and the did what Qwen asked without question. They were both loyal and would his left and right hand on the future. He would need people he could trust without question.

"I will not lie to you. This will be the worse pain that you've both ever gone through. Then it will be worse than that."

"Nothing will be worse than what we went through."

Qwen only wished that were true. This was an world where you could die any second from humans or monsters. He experimented with his own personal shop points and saw that he was able to use them on his party. He knew how precious those points were but to him, these little girls were even more precious.

He maxed out their cultivation techniques and put the rest into body cultivation stage 9 for them both. Dark blood and thick smelly black liquid sprayed from the girls bodies. Their faces contorted in so much pain they couldn't even scream.

Loud cracking sounds reverberated around the house as their bones began to grind. Their muscles skin tore and reformed countless times. He continued to cast 'Regeneration' both girls. It was a grisly sight to watch. Yet, the girls fought. Even with tears if black blood streaming from their eyes, they fought to keep their minds and not let the pain drive then insane.

Without the regeneration spell he would have exploded like the twins nearly had.

Qwen waited intently. The process was taking a longer than his had. He didn't know what that meant but he started to get worried.

After close to an hour passed he was terrified. He was frantically looking for a spell to stop it. He couldn't let anything happen to the girls. His mana pool was draining quickly at this point. He was running low on mana potions at this point also.

Suddently things began changed for the better and the girls breathing finally began to ease. Their was steam coming off of their bodies and their melted a hole into the floor. The girls were unconcious. He was shocked and tried casting 'Regeneration' but the spell failed. Apparently, they were fine.

Qwen looked at their stat points and his jaw dropped. He didnt knowing it was from suprise or envy.

"Now this is complete bullshit!" Qwen screamed!

*****************************

Eventually, the twins convinced him to let them go with him. He called Matt and asked him to borrow a private Jet. Of course he agreed and also told Qwen the next load of cash would be arriving in days. Qwen thanked him and ended the call.

They were all on they jet the girls we bouncing around and talking about all of the places in the world they wanted to visit. They were flying to Japan currently and had 16 hours to go.

Qwen was still jealous at their strength. They were even stronger than he was! He just looked at the ungrateful twins side eyed as they bragged.

The girls talked about their cultivation techniques. They were broken down into multiple parts and took a lot of practice. They had already began to absorb Chi energy were greedily drinking it in. They learned that the path to cultivation is a long road but is worth it. They realize their boon and they could raise their attribute points outside of leveling. All three of them were levels stronger than their original levels. Especially the girls, they could fight on par with Qwen. He really wasnt sure who would win if they duked it out.

He had to get stronger than them. Even though they were only a day or so behind his own and had he also gave them months worth of stat points in one go. He couldn't complain though. The girls earned every point by surviving the ordeal.

Even though they acted like kids and joked. He could see that they lost the remaining bit of childhood when they gain cultivation. The gained a very mature disposition. The were smarter than any normal human adult. They are both walking tanks physically and when they use their Chi they are practically unstoppable.

He used his last gold to purchase them full leather armor from head to toe. He gave Jasmine a series of identical, weapons. Two higher level basic long swords that adds fire and freezing damage when mana is added for 5 mana per second. She also wore the same level purple armor full plate armor that conformed to fit her body perfectly. None of her movements were impeded. The armor had a mana barrier for 5 mana per second. She also had her durable flesh under the armor that acted as extra protection.

Lisa wore elegant looking leather pink and light green armor. She said she wanted to stand out like her game character. Qwen was able to customize things like colors on armor clothing for extra GP. Her bow was the best he could find in the shop at that level. In an emergency it can be taken apart instantly and become daggers. Or razor wire to be come whip like. It can fire mana bolts for 5 mana per arrow. They dealed half of the INT attribute amount of damage per arrow.

None of them were ready to used actual cultivation combat techniques outside of basic movement, himself included.

They had read in one of the manuals that they could literally explode for using a combat technique too high above their cultivation stage. Qwen hadn't even read his yet. He had quite a few ways to fight currently so he wasn't worried. He didn't have time or Shop Points to compensate for the time needed to fully comprehend the technique.

The pilot informed them that they have arrived in Tokyo, Japan and that they will land in 10 minutes.
