I couldn't remember which came first, me calling Elio, or my body running out of the cabin and falling hopelessly into the soil.
My body was a mess and my mind couldn't keep up.
Elio fortunately answered and drove to the woods to come find me. It took us a bit of back and forth direction giving, before he was finally able to find me close to the cabin, and helped me into the car.
"Boss, we need to get you to the hospital-"
"I already have one in mind." I cut him off, referring to Phil's clinic all the way out in fifth.
I pitied Elio.
The poor guy looked like he had seen a ghost when I told him where the hospital we were headed was at.
"Boss, I don't know if you've realized this, but the people there loathe you. I don't think it's wise to show your face around there." He tried being my voice of reasoning, but I was far too affected to care.
