our room

Linden's POV

after the banquet everybody went home and the empress; Lilith came to my room. my room was now our room. after the banquet we both went to take a bath as there were two bathrooms in the room. Lilith came out of the bathroom with a yawn. she was tired and i could see that because of the dark circles under her eyes. i was at the desk completing some files and i saw her go onto the bed and sleep. after a while of got away from my desk and moved towards my med. she was sound asleep and although it was our wedding night i didn't want to wake her up. i wanted to see her sleep peacefully. i crawled right next to her and placed my arm under her head, grabbed her waist and pulled her towards me.

the night went by quickly. we both slept soundly, after all there was nothing to worry about. no Edgar, no war and certainly no hatred. the next morning i was woken up by Lilith's movements. she was wriggling like a worm on the bed. it was clear that she was comfortable of the bed. i grabbed her close to me and her eyes shot open.

she grabbed the blankets and covered herself as if she was concealing something. i laughed. she blushed "don't worry Lilith, nothing happened. i wont force you to do something that you didn't want to" i said. and she replied with a thank you. i laughed for my wife was truly perfect for me.

now that she was the new mother of the empire she had more duties. we both woke up after ten minutes of teasing each other and got ready. she had to work also and so she i both went our separate ways and tended to out work.

Lilith's POV

as i was moving out of the room i saw Edgar. he had a puzzled look on his face. "what's wrong Edgar" i asked. Edgar ignored me and just walked away and i was grabbed aside by the wife if a minister. "empress, you have to meet my husband immediately and help discuss about the current drought situation in the south" she said and i followed her to the court. this was the first time that i had been to court. i took my place near linden on a throne at the top of the court.

we discussed about what we were going to do about the drought in the south of Rhea. the whole meeting took about 4 hours and in the end i came up with the solution about how to solve the drought problem.
