Emma's POV

Starry Club, a well-known premium club in town.

I went there alone and just as I entered, I saw Gary and Zyon sitting in the VIP area on the second floor.

I waved at them calmly and headed for the reserved card table.

Gary, however, boldly leapt down from the second floor and stopped in front of me, looking me up and down. "Emma, what are you doing here?"

"Coming here to socialize of course."

I laughed, this little pup, obviously still held a grudge against me for beating Samantha. And with the stench of alcohol coming out of his mouth, he had obviously had quite a bit to drink, so his attitude was distinctly bad.

"Socialize? Oh, I remember. You took over that shitty law firm under Hector's name, right? Haha, that law firm is full of assholes, you took it over, but you're only the nominal boss, you can't do anything. They won't even listen to you! You're a bare-bones commander, what can you respond to?"
