Thea was lying on the hospital bed, looking very anxious.

The evidence of her theft was sufficient, and it had been confirmed. At present, she was on bail and waiting for trial, and there were police officers guarding the door all the time.

In other words, if Emma refused to withdraw the lawsuit, she would face at least three years of imprisonment after the trial.
