The author’s POV

In the evening, after taking a walk by the nearby river, Emma and Aunt Mary returned home.

From a distance, Emma saw a row of big trucks parked at the gate of the villa, and several men in overalls were looking around with a list in their hands.

"Who are you looking for?"

Emma asked the several men.

Seeing Emma, one of the men asked very enthusiastically, "Excuse me, are you Miss Green?"

"It's me. What's the matter?"

Emma looked at the big trucks behind them with a defensive expression.

"Here's the thing. A certain Mr. Saunders ordered some furniture, appliances, and soft decorations for you. There are a lot of goods and they are very expensive. I hope you can sign and confirm them after counting them."

After that, he handed a thick stack of lists to Emma.

Emma took a rough look at the lists. There were too many things on the lists, from sofas, TVs to vases and murals and so on.
