Antidote

"You should wait for 10 days before you marry me." i said. Then the princess gently nodded and said, " I'll talk to the tribe head about you and your disease. Maybe he'll know how to detoxify you." Then she left with disappointed written on her face but i had no intention of comforting her. The more she gets attached to me now, the more bad she'll feel later. Then i went back to my room. I couldn't wait to open the book and see what secret it holds. So i took it out from my Quinton's ring and kept the fox on the bed.

He sleeps all the time i thought. And i was just about to open it when i heard a loud knocking on the door. I quickly put it back inside the ring and hid the fox below the bed. And then i opened the door. The brother of the princess was there on the door. I asked him what does he need but he sneaked below my arm and entered the room. Then i closed the door and saw he was sitting on my bed already. I asked him again," Why are you here?!" He looked at me for a few seconds and then said," did you find the antidote?!" I sat beside him and said,"no" while swinging my head. He sighed and said," Now what will you do?"

"Are you worried about me" i said. He jumped up embarrassed and said, " ofcourse not I'm worried about sister becoming widow on the very next day of her marriage." I said,"Alright alright, i did not get the antidote and i plan on leaving after 2-3 days...
