Chapter 31 (Her past)
The evening breeze was satisfying, it looks like it would rain but the sky was clear enough.
Her hair danced to the rhythm of the soft breeze.
"I still remember that day so perfectly well, even though it was so many years ago. I woke up and the first thing I do back then was to go into my parent room to wake them up, I am used to it since I tend to wake up early, but instead of getting in and seeing them still on the bed, I met mom crying and this time she was not hiding it".
Alexandra did not realize the past would still hurt as much as it does while talking about it, she smiled through her pain and continued.
"I looked around and did not see dad, I was not too concerned about him at that moment, but seeing mom cry was disturbing, I remembered seeing a broken vase on the ground, and it seemed like a fight took place in there. Kate came in afterward and ran towards mom without hesitation, I just stood there and watched mom cry".
She pressed her lips and pouted.
