Ian patiently waited outside of the building that Mina obviously bought and converted into some sort of makeshift hospital. She was a smart woman, so nothing was done in her name, and because Sadie and Troy were in the process of setting themselves up as individual businesspeople, Ian never thought to look into what they were actually buying. It turned out that most of their purchases were likely made by his wife and had nothing to do with the couple wanting to get into the real estate industry, or maybe they were, and Mina took advantage of the situation to secure herself a safe place to give birth.
