Ian moped in his bedroom, he could barely concentrate after what Mina said, but after a while, he reminded himself that the woman was under the impression that he was really in a relationship with Lisa, which was his fault. Like she said, he should have given Lisa a polygraph, no matter what his parents thought would happen.
In truth, Ian was afraid; he was scared to know if he had actually hurt Lisa. He had convinced himself that he did not and would not do what the woman claimed. In his mind, no matter how aroused he was, he had Mina. If he truly needed to be with someone, he could have easily gone to get her, but without his memory he could not, or rather he did not want to know the truth. An accusation was one thing, but a confirmation would have been devastating to him; it would have proved that his actions really 'killed' Mina.
