Drops

At 11 I had to go to study classes. Rahil was also with me. We were the same age so our study was almost at the same level. He was also proficient in English after I gave him my notes so we only took common language classes and some history and how to rule stuff in between. We were finally free at 1 when it was lunch time.

After lunch we were ready. I wore jeans pants and white shirt with a leather half jacket. After the revealing ceremony I always made my own clothes. It was really easy and much more comfortable. I just told everybody that I can make it by imagining clothes as armor. And I also made one sided goggles by combining some silver in common glass. So I could see through clearly but people can't see my eyes. It was a weird thing for people I knew but it was the best I could think of. Plus the goggles were sports glasses so it helped me while I used sprint.

Rahil was wearing his breeches and caramel colored shirt or t-shirt maybe both it was something like that. It was the most common thing people used to wear here. I had told him to wear something normal. What surprised me was a small dagger like sword hanging from his waist. So I asked,

" Are you good with the sword ? "

" I know some moves. Mostly I use magic though " He said touching the hilt of the sword.

" Don't let my sister see you with a sword… "

" I already fought with her twice ! " He looked sad.

" She beat you to pulp ? " I asked with a grin.

" Ahh yes. I couldn't even stand for 30 seconds "

" ha ha at least she fought with you one on one…"

" She is so strong…"

" Yes she is. " I said smiling.

We went through the tunnel to the Carnia forest. Rahil was looking at everything like some lost kid at a festival. After we reached out, I made huge pole and flag to sign my tunnel.

" You have a sprint right ? "

" Yes. I am not used to it much though. "

" Me too. Let's just go at slow speed. "

We started running towards the field where I fought the monsters. Rahil was only going as fast as 23 - 25 kmh. I matched with his speed and led him to little faster slowly but he couldn't go past 27 kmh.

" Your legs can't handle the speed ? " I asked. No matter how smart… we were just 4 years old after all.

" No ! The wind is just so fast…I can't see clearly…!" He said.

" Ohh ! Wait a second. " I stopped and made another pair of sports goggles for him.

" Here take this. Wear it like me…it will help. "

" Huhm? You can create something like this too ? " He mumbled and put on glasses as I showed him.

Now we were going at least 40 + kmh. We were running so fast everything was almost like a blur but little by little our eyes adjusted.

" Woah !! this things are awesome !! How did you made this ?? " He shouted while running.

" Just some idle thinking….pay attention to your third eye skill " I also shouted back.

We arrived at the open field in 15 minutes. I stopped at the side of the field and looked upon it. It was so empty now. Rahil came next to me.

" This is the place ? " he asked.

" Yes "

" Why are we here ? "

" I didn't collect the drops from monsters…let's see if we can find something good…." I said.

" Where are they ? "

I put my hand on land and removed all the blocks of dirt I had stuffed at top. And a big crater full of various weapons and food and all sorts of things came visible.

" woah !! Just how many were there ? "

" Too many " I said.

" Let's do it. If you find some good equipment, pile them on one side." I continued.

" Are we going to take it with us? how? what are we even gonna do with it ? "

I handed him a scroll from my bag and started looking through things one by one. The scroll was something that i had gotten when i had killed my first monster. It contained a skill and its condition. Rahil was trying to read it so i started checking all the drops and soon I found a knife-like weapon. It was bigger than regular knife maybe because I was so small it looked bigger to me…but it was made of some kind of weird mixture of metals. It looked black but once a while it shimmered as blue. There were no extra effect or stats screen but it was a pretty good weapon. I continued my search. A lot of pieces of armor and stuff were burned and blackened by dragon fire but some survived and just that spoke of their quality. Finally rahil had deciphered it all so he spoke,

" It's an amazing skill Neff !! but the condition is too hard. It is a storage type skill so that does make it fair…"

" What's so special about storage type skills ? " I said.

" They are rare. Most people with storage type skills get recruited by the army or merchants. They are pretty high in demand. "

" Ohh I once read about a skill named Bin box or something. That was a C rank skill " I said.

" Yes Binste box. It is C rank but its condition is to make a perfect hollow rectangular shape using earth for a total of 5000 times…! "

" Earth manipulation is done without magicules. I think that's fair, right ? "

" No you Don't get it ! No one can make an exact shape for 5000 times continuously…..Just one mistake and starting everything from start…"

" Ohh maybe it is hard for people I guess. "

" Of course it is. A control like that is considered as high talent ! Most people spend 15 + years to achieve such precision. "

" This one is easy though and it seems better than a bin box. "

" Easy !?? lifting 10,000 kilograms is easy for you ? It's another hard to get skill. "

" With my skill I can do it in a minute….."

" Come on ! Even you can't produce something that weighs 10,000 kg !! "

I created an earth block big enough to stand then I went up high in the air. After reaching a certain height I raised both my hands up and imagined a huge 5 meter thick layer of earth and created it above my head floating in air, 10,000 kg of dirt. It didn't even cost much magicules… Dirt was 0.5 magicules for 100 kg. I heard a ding sound like a smartphone notification and I got it. I erased it in just another second. I had almost covered the whole forest with my earth layer. I just hope no one comes looking for a source. I went back down to Rahil.

" That was…..huge !! " He said his mouth opened.

" Huge ? That's the best you have ? " I laughed.

" No ! I have never seen or read about someone having such a vast effect and reach with a single skill…..S rank is just unbelievable !!"
