Chapter Two

He shouted at the one driving. I think he's asking him to go faster. Both of them are in chaos right now. The guy kept on looking at the back na para bang may humahabol.

Humahabol! Dad is on the move. Pinilit kong iangat ang katawan ko, I need to do something. I closed my eyes and pinakiramdaman ang katawan ko. Inipon ko lahat ng lakas and raised my body. Argh I can't do it. My strength isn't enough.

"Bilisan mo pa kardo, naabutan na tayo!"

My eyes widened when thier voice started to be clear in my ears. I can slowly feel my strength coming back too. Just a bit, kunti pa magagalaw ko na ang katawan ko.

"Ito na ang pinakamabilis, mierda!. Don't pressure me! Yang babae alalahanin mo! Wala pa namang syang sinabi kung hangang kailang tatagal ang gamot na yun!" The guy who's driving shouted.

So that medicine was supposed to work for a specific time only. I gather my strength and slowly got up. The second guy looked at the back at the same time. Shit. Dahil sa panic I did what I see in movies, I poked both his eyes using my index and middle finger. Sorry Lord, huhu.

Napasigaw naman sya. I used that chance para makipag-agawan ng manibela sa isa. I turned it to the left. Napasigaw ako ng makitang may ten-wheeler truck sa harapan namin agad nya naman kinabig ang manibela papunta sa kabilang direksyon. But on our surprise may malaking puno dun. Shit, tatama at tatama kami what ever we do. I need to brace for the impact.

I got back at the back seat and covered my head with my hands. I felt my body move violently as the car hit the tree. Narinig ko din ang pagkabasag ng mga salamin. My head got pushed upfront and back. My head bumped at the seat in front nakaramdam ako ng hilo dahil dun.

As the engine stopped working, I smelled the burning interior of the car. I can feel a liquid gushing out from my head. Inabot ko yun and as I looked at it, I'm certain that's blood, kahit nagdadalawa pa ang paningin ko I gathered my strength to open the car. Just as I opened the car ang mukha ni Dad ang unang bumungad sa'kin. His eyes is full of worry and anger. I tried to move my body again but I can't move anymore, I can feel my self losing consciousness too. All I see before losing consciousness is Dad's worried face while carefully getting me out the car. Being careful not to touch my injuries. I managed to smile and say 'I'm Fine' to ease his worry and everything went dark.
