The author's words !

Thank you all for taking the time to read this story. This part will allow me to answer some of your questions as well as the end of this denouement.

Questions :

Who am I ?

I am a man and I am 32 years old.

I work as a hairdresser and am a person who lives by his passions. I love to escape into reading and especially into brain-twisting scenarios.

Like many people who read a lot, I have learned to see the true face of society and what man is really like.

Humans are capable of wonderful things and of uniting in adversity. But unfortunately, humans are also capable of the worst atrocities in the world and the world is too often corrupted.

I am only 32 years old and when I saw Madara I immediately identified with this individual : human beings never learn from their mistakes and will be responsible for their own extinction.

Unfortunately, one person cannot change things and humans will repeat the same mistakes over and over again. Generation after generation, because they will want to experience them.

This is of course only my opinion and is not the absolute truth.

In any case, Sakura, Madara and Ashina represent in part what I am in real life.

Why this story ?

You should know that before this story I had never written anything and I was in distress. An event in my life in July 2020 put me at the bottom of the barrel and I needed to get all that pain out.

Being an unconditional fan of Kishimoto's universe : Naruto. I wanted to try to put my pain on paper in a story. And what better way than to do it on a universe that helped me for many years. So, one evening, I sat down in front of my computer and I thought of this scene from chapter 1 of What is true peace ?

When I started this story, I didn't know how to end it.

Then one day, I had the idea of how to end my story by seeing Boruto and Sarada. If the two of them go out together, it could allow the reincarnations of the Rikudô Sennin's children to go as one and that gave me the following idea : Everything is orchestrated by the Rikudô Sennin !

And from that moment, I wrote the last chapters with this questioning :

- How to make Sakura and Madara die ?

- Why should they die ?

- What is at stake ?

- And especially by whom ?

- And how ?

Having this plot for the end, it took me a long time to get the solution. Luckily I'm someone who does tabletop role-playing as a GM (game master). And when I imagine a scenario, I always make sure to leave myself exit doors to exploit. Which is what I did in this story.

- Hashirama had disappeared (I never said he was dead : interpretation)

- Mito had disappeared (Same thing : interpretation)

Of course, I did everything to cover my tracks, but that allowed me to have this story. And as the last chapter was published, I finally turned the page and could move on :)

Will there be a sequel ?

Yes ! And this sequel was to be imagined by you, the READER.

Will Ashina bring Madara and Sakura back to life ?

I wrote this ending so that the reader could make their own ending. Will Ashina bring Sakura and Madara back to life, and thus Madara will use his Rinnegan to resurrect them ? Or will Ashina leave the dead where they are and guide this future Rikudô Sennin ?

It's up to you to imagine what will happen next.

For my part, the Rikudô Sennin would never have put the seal on Madara (I did it to make the revelation chapter at the end) : Madara would have sacrificed his Sharingan with the Izanagi to cancel Hashirama's last move. Thanks to that he would have survived. Then he would have resurrected Sakura with his Rinnegan. (But this is my version ^^)

Will Naruto and Sasuke be born ?

It's very particular, the whole plot is changed. Many people died and many characters we know from Kishimoto's work will not be born. However, Itachi and Sasuke will be born since the Uchiha clan has survived. As for Naruto, it's complicated. His mother is alive and well, but as for Minato : we don't know much about him.

Why didn't you let Boruto and Sarada have a child ?

For me it was impossible that Sarada and Boruto's child could contain the two reincarnations of Indra and Izuna. Why not ? Because when one of the hosts dies, the soul goes to another receptacle. And for that, Naruto and Sasuke would have to die shortly after Sarada and Boruto's child was born.

Why the Edo Tensei ?

Because Edo Tensei allows you to bring people back to life and as Madara said, if your will is strong enough and you know the technique well you could be resurrected: which he did in the original manga. And if Madara can come back thanks to this, he will be able to bring back his wife with the Rinnegan.

Why didn't Madara resurrect Hitomi ?

Because it's not his character, he has nothing to gain by resurrecting her except to ease his wife's pain.

Why doesn't Nozumi have the Rinnegan ?

The Rinnegan is an evolution of the Mangekyô Sharingan mixed with the cells of the two reincarnations. She will unlock it later.

What happens to Kakuzu ?

Is he counting his money ? To tell you the truth, I don't know, maybe Ashina will employ his services. It's up to you.

What will become of the Bijû ?

I didn't think about it, it will depend on the men... because after all : only one cycle of hate was abrogated and it is not the one of the man himself.

Will :

Hashuba will take back his place as Daimyô ?

Ashina will become Heikage ?

Akihiko and Yui will finally be together ?

Will Tsunade and Jiraiya finally be a couple ?

Orochimari will become corrupt too ?

Kushina will meet her Minato ?

And so many other questions like that.

It's up to you to imagine what will happen with all these possibilities, it's now YOUR story !

Advice :

Now that you know the whole story, I can make some revelation about the clues I hid throughout the story.

It is indeed the Rikudô Sennin who says ''Finally'' at the end of the Nozumi chapter. He says this word because he finally sees the perfect receptacle for his children.

It was the Rikudô Sennin who manipulated Hashirama's wooden arms when Hashirama had his eyes closed and went to be beheaded by Madara. He didn't want Hashirama to die right away. (If you reread the sentence you will understand that there is something strange... but having this information you will understand :))

Moreover, I advise you to reread the story.

Except that this time, don't read it as Sakura or Madara... but as the Rikudô Sennin (In my place). You see the future ! You know what is going to happen and you do everything to make it happen in that sense. So, you will see all the subtleties that I have hidden in this story, which gives a second depth to the story and why Hagoromo Ôtsutsuki did this.

If you don't have the faith to do it, I advise you to just reread the conversation between Sakura and the Rikudô Sennin in the chapter ''Morality''. You'll see that everything he said is true... but it's all a matter of interpretation and which side you are on.
