“Okay here are my questions. 1. When you picked out his clothes, which suit out of the three did he wear?” She asked her with a smirk on her face.

“He wears the one that I think he would not like.” She responded and Rinaea smiled.

“Okay. 2. When you cook, do you sit and eat with him to see if he eats what you cook or not?” She asked her second question which made Tiania a bit considerful as she has never looked at it the way she is looking at it right now, that she asked it that way.

“Okay, one time like in the beginning of our after wedding. Claire made eggs but it was not my style. So, I made a plate for myself and when we were eating he just sat there staring at the plate like it was shit... On the plate. He finally dropped the fork on the plate. He then asked in a demanding tone of voice. “Who made it?” I didn’t realize it until it was late but. I said that it was me who made it then he got up and began to leave. Anyways he just left and Claire said i shouldn’t have lied because he’s a picky man. After that I would wake up early to make his breakfast and then have Claire in the kitchen by the time he would be ready.” She took a deep breath and got right into why she believes he doesn’t eat from her and why she hides the fact that she does cook for him, he just doesn’t know that it is her who cooks for him. Rinaea bursted into laughter and Tiania was not happy about it.

“Baby, I love you. I do but after you fell in love or should i say after he fell in love with you, you turn stupid. That man had that maid for years. Do you really think that he doesn’t know that it is you who is cooking his meal? She even told you that he is a picky man yet after complaining over an eeg he suddenly began eating and not having any problems whatsoever... Really, do you think I'm stupid? Huh? Baby please, think about it. It is him who is in love with you and not the other way around.” She finally stopped laughing and looked at her for a moment and then said to her. Tiania raised her eyebrows at her friend for calling her stupid. She then began to explain to her even in questions to remind her that the man she married is someone who is picky but also someone who has had the maid Claire for years before she came into his life yet after an egg that he complained about was made by her. {The maid} She asked her and then pleaded with her to think about it. But then tells her that it’s the man who is in love with her.

Tiania sat there looking at her friend who had opened her eyes in some ways. She knows that he doesn’t eat in front of her or with her because she would never be there, she is the one to leave before he comes down for breakfast.

“What about dinner? He comes at 9 or 11 most of the time, even if I stay awake and wait for him. When he sees me, it just makes him mad and he would give me that surprising look that would change after he was sure it was me.” She asked and explained to Rinaea what would happen if she waited up for him.

“Okay. When he sees you it’s surprising then it would look like the face I'm making right now?” She responded and said to her before asking.

“Yes. Exactly the same. As if you were there!” She replied in anger stating that her friend was there when he made the face.

“It’s not that I was there but that is the face my husband made when I waited up for him to come from work. However, the difference is that he is the company owner. It’s not like in the movies he can’t just disappear or come be your Romeo. He is not trying to have you die and then when he kills himself for you, it turns out that you were just in deep sleep. He has to make sure everything is safe and alright before coming home. Seeing you up surprised him but also made him worry and upset with himself. But that’s not all. I bet my life after he made the face you got up and left like a heartless... That you are and not giving him the chance to say he’s sorry or anything like that..?” She explained to tell her what it’s really like, and that she misunderstood the situation instead of allowing him to fix it, Rinaea explained that her husband is not some CEO from the movies or Romeo. He’s the company owner and he can’t just get up and leave as he pleases but she didn’t even give him a chance to say anything to explain himself or to even tell her to not stay up so late to wait for him.

“So, this is now my fault? He was distant, cold, aloof and ruthless to me, whose side are you even on? He only sleeps with me when he’s under the influence of god damn alcohol.” She began to feel the way she had felt before but then she just let out all the reasons why she wants to leave.

“Is this why you want to end your marriage?” Rinaea asked her with a serious face.

“Yes. He hates me and there nothing anyone can say to change my mind not even him.” She responded to Rinaea with anger deep within her tone. Rinaea sits staring at her waiting for the right seconds to fulfill her dear friend mothers request.

“Jaonish used to do it too. Sometimes he can’t even keep up because of the alcohol. But i spoke with him and he tell me what it was like for him, and for Henrick. Tiania he is just afraid someone will sleep with you better than he does. So, he gets tipsy and he comes back to you and do what he does. You can wait as long as you want to forgive him but while you torture him for loving you while being afraid of you. Put yourself in his shoe. Let’s be remind that everyone knows that he’s married and now they knows to whom he wedded. He can have anyone, it’s just an example. He can have anyone and literally anyone who would seem perfect ten times you but he chooses you and even now, when you’re leaving him and yet he’s not going. He’s chasing you with everyone knowing.” After Rinaea tell her what her husband use to do as well she looked surprised. She listen to her friend carefully and heard something she was not please with but she knows that her friend means her well. She was informing her that her husband is someone who is also human and men needs to be loved as they have weakness just as much as a woman who is afraid to lose their husband. Tiania shockingly sat and listened to her friend who continued to enlighten her.

“Ah... I forgot he was your first at almost everything. So it is a bit for you.” She remembered and said to her about the fact that she would not experience these kinds of things.

“As if he might have been what y’all think but I know what I know and that is that. I will not settle for what he is giving. I deserve better and that is what I want.” She said to her friend making her feel like she has no idea of what really happened between them or maybe there is something that she is not speaking of.

“It’s okay. I’m sorry that it turned out this way because he seems to be madly in love with you... like that one time—Ahh. I have to go to work, let's chat later.” She didn’t pressure her any further as she didn't want her to realize that this was her mothers doing.

“Like that one time...? How would you know he is madly in love with me?” Tiania questioned it as her friend was walking out from her room. Rinaea stopped immediately.

“Don’t you look back at your photos and videos taken by the media?” She turned around and said to her before leaving, leaving her confused.
