I Love You Siberia, Don't You Get It?

Siberia's eyes were bloodshot red as she didn't have a proper sleep and her head ached badly. Though Siberia was used to having frequent cerebral pains, this was different yet she remained ignorant to it and prepared to leave.

She wore her sea-blue sweatshirt with black pants along with her usual sneakers. Her hair was tied in a messy bun highlighting her jaw and neck lines. She tugged in her shirt a bit before giving herself one last look in the mirror prior to leaving her apartment.

While getting off she heard a voice she assumed she knew very well. She somewhat peeked down and spotted Dana on the phone.

"Simply transport them to me and I'll deal with the rest" Dana spoke nonchalantly while swiping her hair back and looking sideways to ensure nobody was there.

Siberia saw this as a significant wellspring of material in her investigation cycle and thus started to record while ensuring she was out of reach from Dana's sight.

"Believe me when I say the experiment will be worth the effort. I do realize it cost a fortune, yet the repercussions is unimaginable, we'd be playing with cash soon" Dana laughed as she talked, feeling pleased for her schemes that made Siberia jitter.

"Have confidence, I have another on the off chance that this one turns out poorly" Dana hung up without bidding farewell and headed down, giving one final check out around her.

Siberia stood up from her concealing spot and saved the recording. However it wasn't clear enough for her to construct any idea with respect to what Dana was referring to, she however believed it would end up being helpful later.

Siberia arrived at the hospital by nine and a half. She felt lightheaded as she advanced in, however kept on being ignorant to it. As she arrived at the lift she felt a spout of massive pain and hunched down, holding her head. She groaned so loudly that the voice grabbed the eye of the nearby specialists and medical attendants who raced to her side.

"agassi gwaenchanh-a?(Miss are you alright?)"

Albeit they spoke in a loud and clear voice, Siberia just heard faint voices and soon her vision started to get foggy. In a concise second, everything was dark.

At the point when Siberia stirred, she found herself wound up in a hospital outfit, lying on a bed with Yeong who stood next to her, looking worrisome. She made an endeavor to sit up, yet again felt the agony toward the rear of her head.

"Ahh" She laid back down, scouring her head.

"For what reason didn't you tell me?" Yeong spoke softly, yet there was some harshness to it.

"What?" Siberia looked at him bewildered.

"For goodness sake Siberia, are you in any case, taking care of yourself?" He spoke a little louder this time, the disappointment developing.

"Stop betting around the bush" Siberia looked at him sharply; feeling frustrated herself because of the pain and now the confusion.

Yeong looked at her with an intense gaze before making his way near her. He reached out to her level, his strong arms trapping Siberia in between. His face was so close that she could feel his breath over her lips. Siberia felt her cheeks burn and looked away awkwardly.

"What are you doing?" She spoke timidly.

"You have amyotrophic lateral sclerosis" Yeong continued to look at her intensely and the close distance made him appear intimidating.

Siberia was now looking straight into his eyes. She wasn't able to say anything as she was lost for words.

"The doctor advised for some oral medication, but on the off chance that the situation worsens, they'll have to operate and that is risky" He spoke sternly yet in a husky voice which made Siberia even redder.

Yeong stood back up and turned away letting out an exhausted breath. His back was completely wet and Siberia assumed it was the sweat.

"Why are you so upset?" Though Siberia meant to say it to herself, she unintentionally spoke a little louder which caught Yeong's attention.

"Are you really asking me that?" He looked hurtful as he spoke. "Do you even have any idea how worried I was when I heard you were being taken for MRI?"

Siberia felt guilty as she looked away, not being able to answer.

"Do you even know why I'm in Seoul? I never wanted to come here, but when I came to know you were working at my dad's company here, I requested my father to shift me here in Seoul in any hospital so that I can see you" Yeong, though he felt frustrated, he tried to control it as he spoke.

"I love you Siberia, don't you get it?" He once again came near her, trapping her in between his arms. "I freaking love you" his voice sounded husky.

Siberia stared at him with wide eyes, her mouth slightly apart. "Wh…what did you" she cut herself off as she pushed him away and sat up, lightly tapping her cheeks.

"I'm not asking for a response, but rather you should know my feelings. I can't keep it in" Yeong looked earnest as he spoke which made Siberia unfit to deny his sentiments. There was no space for uncertainty as he expressed each word with the most perfect type of truthfulness. It was clear he wasn't lying, yet Siberia wasn't certain about hers yet. She needed to say yes, however there was something that was halting her, something that made her incapable to say 'yes'. Siberia wanted to shout and say yes, hop directly into his arms and kiss him, however her body wouldn't acknowledge it. It rather made her reconsider and opened rooms of uncertainty, questions she can't depict.

"I need to be distant for a while" She felt regretful as she spoke, peering down. She was unable to bear to look solidly at him. Siberia realized she hurt him and thus she decided to separate herself however she would have rather not, yet it was all she could think around then. 'Distance yourself' she contemplated internally.

Yeong left the room without saying anything. Tears rolled down Siberia's cheeks as she watched him shut the entryway. She felt tormented.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When it was around 5 in the evening, Siberia left to check on Yeong. She dozed off again and when she got up she felt her body aching. 'It's probably the symptoms' she thought to herself as she stood up.

Yeong was in his room, playing with his phone. As he saw Siberia he immediately raced to her; grabbing her arms. "What are you doing here, you ought to be in bed" he looked troubled as he spoke; his now delicate eyes looking into hers.

Siberia gazed at him momentarily and snapped back as she felt herself losing all sense of direction in his eyes. "I uh, came to check on you" She spoke bashfully.

"Siberia I'm all fine, it's you who needs checking" Yeong brought her in, keeping hold of her arms as he made her to sit on his bed.

"Allow me to check with the specialists" He cupped her face into his hands, planting a delicate kiss on her temple prior to leaving which left Siberia staggered.

Siberia experienced the intensity once more and hastily stumbled to the mirror where she saw herself; red as a tomato.

She contemplated internally for quite a while, from she first saw Yeong. She realized it wasn't love at first sight or anything, however there was something like a connection, something like they are meant to be. However much to her dismay of not replying, Siberia felt another inclination, telling her that she shouldn't engage with him. It was too intricate to even consider portraying and Siberia knew if she said yes, there would be a typhoon she can't take off from, regardless of how hard, how quick she runs.

"Siberia"

Siberia looked back as she saw Yeong in the mirror. Her eyes melting away into his. She hated herself for having these mixed feelings. 'If it's not love then what is it', she contemplated again, looking into his eyes; searching for an answer.

"Yeong" She approached him as she spoke. "Tell me", she took a brief pause before continuing. "When you said you love me, was it just love?" She was now standing right in front of a bemused Yeong.

"What do you mean?" Yeong looked at her, silently asking for her to be more specific.

"You know what I mean Yeong. I can't be the only one to have these mixed feelings" Siberia felt the tears that wielded up; on the verge to rolling down. "I can't be the only one who thinks that it's not love, but there is something else and another force that's stopping me from knowing my true feelings" Now the tears rolled down her cheeks.

Yeong took her hands into his, slightly squeezing them. "Before coming here, I asked myself if I actually loved you, or was it just a mere obsession or some child's feeling"

Siberia remained silent with the tears rolling non-stop.

Yeong wiped her tears as he spoke, "I waited for a little longer before deciding to execute my plans and I felt it, the pain of not seeing you. It wasn't love at first sight, it was something else"

"What was it" She spoke hastily, looking at him expectantly.

"It was a feeling, a feeling as if I already knew you were the one who I would end up with eventually, regardless of whoever I hook up with. It was a feeling as if I knew you would feel hurt, something like we're already together"

"How can that be a feeling" Siberia let her hands loose from his grip, stepping back a little.

Yeong looked at Siberia, feeling a little hurt. "I don't know, but how can we know unless we won't try"

"Is it worth it?" Siberia asked with a drop in her voice, a melancholic feeling.

"Would you know if I asked you?" Yeong now took a step closer to Siberia as he spoke and took hold of her hands. "We both know we'll regret if we won't try"

Siberia looked into his eyes that felt like an abyss of darkness where her thoughts and feelings were lost. 'Is this....is this what we call aromanticism', Siberia stepped closer to Yeong as she contemplated, 'If this is it, then I'm ready to give in'. She leaned forward a kissed him. Yeong stood with wide eyes for a brief moment before pulling her closer by her waist.

'I'm ready to risk it, to try it even if it's not love. I will turn it into love. I don't care what this feeling is, be it either aromanticism or whatever; I plan on loving you'
