Do You Really Not Remember Me?

Siberia stepped back rapidly, her face flushed red and eyes wide open. A slight gasp escaped away from her mouth. "I'm s.s… sorry" She faltered as she spoke, rapidly turning away in shame.

Yeong was excessively stunned to say anything himself. Not that he disapproved of the embrace, however, more like he was astounded when she embraced him. It was an unexpected yet inadvertent move that stunned the two of them.

He took a gander at her subsequent to looking down and randomly examining the room. "It's alright, I mean" He scratched his head, trying to figure the right word to clear the tension. "We're friends; I mean some way or another. Yea, that's right, a friendly hug and because you got way too excited", he looked towards her, expecting her to be at ease. "A friendly hug", he said again as he nodded.

Siberia took a gander at him before looking away again as she still felt the heat on her cheeks. "Hahaha, yea that's fair enough". She said nothing after and neither did Yeong. An awkward silence filled the air which was soon disrupted by a grumbling sound; a stomach that is all empty and now demands food.

"I should get us something to eat" Siberia said as she made a dash for the door, leaving her bag behind.

Yeong didn't pay heed at first however, soon did shortly after she left when he stood to take some cloths out of his bag. "Oh" he murmured to himself.

Siberia waited in line. She kept on thinking about that hug and felt the heat on her cheeks once again. She lightly tapped at her cheeks in an attempt to wipe away the blush which was however impossible as she continued to replay the scene in her head. His sweet perfume was driving her like crazy and for the first time Siberia felt the touch of his light brown premed hair against her skin; soft like feather with a minty smell.

"Hey! Are you gonna order or not?" The cashier spoke, bringing Siberia out of her dreamland.

"Yea, sorry, got carried away"

"Yea I can tell by looking at the flush on your face" The lady gave a soft chuckle which made Siberia slightly embarrassed.

"Two Tuna Sandwich with extra pickle and onions and vinegar with all sauces except Honey and mustard"

"Okay, your order number is 109 and your bill 22,000 Won"

Siberia grabbed at her side to open her bag, but felt nothing. She swiftly looked at her side and then down and around her. "Oh, my bag"

"Excuse me, I'll pay for it"

A hand brushed by Siberia's arm. The man's golden skin was enough for her to guess who it was. She quickly looked back and her eyes met his aqua green eyes that looked right at her yellowish-brown eyes.

"Yeong" she softly called out his name.

"Not Yeong, oppa" he whispered in her ear.

"Guys, you can carry this elsewhere, we got more people in line" The lady spoke who seemed fascinated by the boy.

Siberia stepped out of the queue and made her way to farthest corner. She knew there was no way now to cover her flushed face as Yeong was standing right in front of her.

"Yah" she glared at him like an angry cat.

"Woah, easy girl"

"How much did you hear?" Siberia looked at him right in the eye as she spoke.

"I can tell just by looking at the flush on your face" Yeong repeated the words of the cashier that made Siberia choke on her breath.

"Yah, I wasn't thinking about you" She stepped back to create some distance as Yeong was standing too close.

"I didn't say anything like that" He smirked as he spoke in an attempt to tease her.

She lightly punched his arm, before taking a seat.

"You left your bag which is why I'm here"

"Yea I figured. I'll pay you back once we get back"

"My treat"

"No! You paid last time"

"Did I?" He slightly looked up, pretending to think.

"Yes you did" Siberia unknowingly slammed her hands on the table.

"Woah, what's wrong? Why so hyper?" He looked worrisome.

Siberia was shocked by her abrupt action. She herself didn't know why she got so hyper by a mere hug. 'It's just a friendly hug' she thought as she blinked her eyes in utter confusion. "Ah, sorry, it's just that" She let out a tensed breath and covered her face by both hands and bent down in a way that her hands rested on top of the table with her face covered in.

"Hey it's alright. It happens, chill" He comforted her.

"Order 109!" The lady called out signaling for them to take their food.

"Let's go Siberia" Yeong lightly tapped at her shoulders as he stood up and made his way to the counter.

Siberia slowly looked up as he headed on forward. "Aish why are you so stupid", she mumbled to herself as she followed him and all the way out.

Siberia and Yeong remained quiet all the way back to the hospital. Yeong however, was taking quick glances at Siberia who was walking behind him. Before entering in the hospital, Yeong stopped and turned back; looking Siberia right in the eye who was taken aback by the sudden halt. "How long do you plan to stay like that?"

"What do you mean?" Siberia, though she knew what he meant, played dumb, as she was too embarrassed to say anything regarding that.

"You're making things awkward between us" He continued in as he spoke, looking a bit annoyed.

Siberia stood at her place for a brief moment before rushing to catch up. "That's not true"

"Okay so what's the deal?" He continued his way in the elevator followed by Siberia right behind.

"You're…", she stopped for a brief moment, trying to fight her emotions that she bolted up. "gregarious and congenial" She looked a bit melancholic as she said that.

"What do you mean" He looked at her reflection in the mirror.

"You've been to school; you were able to mingle because you had the time and you got to explore way more than me. I never got the chance to mingle; not even finish university so you may not understand this"

"Stop beating around the bush"

"What I'm saying is", Siberia spoke in a fit of pique, "I'm not a social butterfly like you, OKAY? I feel awkward around people, around strangers in particular! I've never mingled before like you so YOU may not find those gestures awkward, but I do" Siberia felt her eyes swell up with water; her nose turning red. She was on the brick of crying as she opened up.

Yeong just looked at her reflection, not saying anything.

"I still feel awkward, but something in me tells me to get to know you more; that I have to befriend you. I hate this feeling, but I can't deny it anymore" The tears now made their way down her cheeks.

"I'm not a stranger" Yeong finally spoke as Siberia was now looking straight up at him and not down.

"What?" She looked at him perplexed, the tears still streaming down.

"Do you really not remember me?" His eyes met her confused gaze.
