WHAT! I Have To Kill Heaven's Son To Live!

For as long as Reon could remember, his life had been a monotonous cycle of solitude. A loner to the core, he buried himself in his studies and part-time jobs just to get by. No family. No friends. No joy. No sorrow. Just an empty existence. But fate had other plans. Reon suddenly found himself transmigrated into the world of a novel he had read, all because of a complaint about the Protagonist. However, he wasn’t reborn as the protagonist, a powerful supporting character or even a notable figure. No, fate had saddled him with the most pitiful role imaginable: A Villain! No, he wasn’t the villain who sparked fear to everyone or the rival who challenged the protagonist’s growth. No, he was that guy—the one who gets a single line of dialogue before being obliterated, his only purpose to highlight the hero’s strength. The kind of character readers would roll their eyes at and skip over without a second thought. Yes, he had become that kind of background character—cannon fodder, a disposable pawn, a nameless lackey serving under a third-rate villain! The worst kind of cliché—a spineless dog for a spoiled young master from a powerful family, wagging his tail at every order. The one whose destiny was to be manipulated and die a dog's death long before the main story even began. How could fate be so cruel? So petty?! But Reon wasn’t about to accept this. Not again. This time he wasn’t the Reon who had wasted away his first life. A world once confined to the pages of a novel had become his reality—a realm where strength commands respect, and the weak are trampled underfoot like insignificant ants. If this world wanted him to live like a dog and die like a stepping stone, it was dead wrong. This time, Reon resolved to live life to the fullest—to fight, to laugh, to love, to revel in the chaos of this fantasy world filled with magic, swords, and cultivation. No one would stop him from seizing his happiness. Not Fate. Not the so-called Protagonists. Not even Heaven itself. And if anyone dared to stand in his way? He would break the rules, exploit the extras, manipulate the main characters, and twist the very fabric of the story to serve his own ends. He would plunder the opportunities meant for the protagonist, destroy threats before they could rise, and rewrite his destiny with his own hands—whatever it took to carve out his path to survive. Would the main characters suffer? Who cares? Would the story change? Even better. This time, he would live without regrets. A glass of wine in one hand, a woman in the other, and unshakable strength beneath his feet. That was the plan… until the system arrived. . . . [Ding! The Host has awakened the Heaven Plundering System! If the host wishes to survive in this world, he must kill Heaven’s Child.] . . . WHAAT! . . . --------------------WARNING------------------- . . . . If you prefer a dense, shy, beta, submissive protagonist, then this novel is not for you. Here, the main character will be Domineering, Ruthless, Calm, Intelligent, Cunning, and Alpha-type—caring only for his loved ones while remaining cold toward the rest of the world. Additionally, female leads will be Strong, Intelligent, and Loyal—not merely waiting for the main character to come and rescue them like a fairytale prince. The harem in this story will be large, with each member being capable and equally important to the plot. Every character will have their own significance and development, contributing meaningfully to the story. . . . NO NTR!! NO YURI!! NO FUTA!! NO YAOI!! . . . [There will be smut scenes in later chapters, it will be marked as (R-18) beside the headline. Minors, please exercise caution.] . . . °°°°The story will unfold at a slower pace, so I encourage fellow Daoists to be patient and support me on this journey. If you have any suggestions or ideas, feel free to share them in the comments. I will consider adding them if I find them truly good.°°°°

Chapter 3: First Mission Reward

Reon gazed at the Healing Pill he had received from the minor elder, noting its resemblance to a small piece of candy.

Initially, he had doubts about whether it was truly a Healing Pill, but as he glanced at his battered body once more, he couldn't help but let out a sigh.

Without a moment's hesitation, he swallowed the Healing Pill. As it approached his mouth, he was enveloped by a rich, aromatic fragrance that hinted at the potency of its ingredients.

The scent was a harmonious blend of herbs and floral notes, evoking a sense of warmth and reassurance. As he bit into the pill, a burst of flavor flooded his senses, promising healing and vitality.

The flavor was so rich that a gentle warmth began to spread through his body. It was the first time in his life he had consumed anything like it.

Though it resembled a piece of candy, it was far from ordinary. If it had existed on Earth, this candy-like pill might have been valued at millions.

[Ding! The Host has eaten a Healing pill for the first time. Effect of Healing pill is increasing.]

Notifications began to flood in one after another before Reon, but he paid them little heed, concentrating instead on his body. If he didn't heal within a week, he knew he would surely meet his demise at the hands of the main character.

Even if his body were in perfect health, he would still face death at the hands of the main character, having been beaten to death even when he was entirely unscathed. Nevertheless, he needed to recover quickly to fully grasp his situation.

After half an hour, he felt considerably better; he could move his hands freely, unlike before. However, a lingering ache still coursed through his body, reminding him of the pain he had endured.

"Just how much did this bastard was beaten to get into this situation?" he thought inwardly.

Had it not been for the system's enhancement of the Healing Pill, he would have needed several hours to recover, even with a Grade-2 Healing Pill.

Now, shall I look at What I got from system? He opened his System Panel and clicked to Inventory to check reward first.

[Bull Stopping Shield]: This is a Low-Tier Uncommon-Grade item, Designed to withstand one attack from Mid-Stage Qi-Solidification Realm Cultivator. It can be utilized three times.

"Not bad at all!"

Although it is merely an Uncommon-Grade item, the Bull Stopping Shield can be proved quite useful in the early stages of the novel.

Its ability to block powerful attacks from Qi-Solidification Realm cultivators was particularly advantageous at this point, especially considering that even the main character was only a High-Stage Qi-Refining Realm cultivator.

The Realms cultivator are divided into Nine Realm which are Qi-Refining Realm, Qi-Solidification Realm, Foundation Establishment Realm, Golden-Core Formation Realm, Elements-Refining Realm, Nascent Soul Realm, Void-Refining Realm, Body Integration Realm, Earth King Realm.

These realms are further divided into nine minor stages, with each set of three stages classified as Low, Mid, and High.

Before breaking through to the next realm, one must first attain the Peak Stage of their current realm.

Legends speak of a realm beyond the Earth King Realm, one that has eluded attainment for thousands of years. This elusive realm is known as the Earth Emperor Realm.

Upon reaching the Earth Emperor Realm, immortals can supposedly ascend to the Higher Realm World.

However, this remains a mere legend, first recounted in the novel when the concept of cultivation realms was introduced.

There are also Nine Grade of items and skills which are Common-Grade, Uncommon-Grade, Rare-Grade, Unique-Grade, Epic-Grade, Legendary-Grade, Mythical-Grade, Saint-Grade, Immortal-Grade.

Each grade is further divided into four tiers: Low-Tier, Mid-Tier, High-Tier, and Peak-Tier.

There are also myths about Divine-Grade weapons, but no one has ever seen one with their own eyes.

After reviewing the mission rewards, he clicked to check the details of his novice gift.

As he read the descriptions, his expression darkened. "Depends on luck?" he muttered incredulously.

When had his luck ever been favorable? He struggled to recall a single instance, the memories evading him like shadows in the night.

Perhaps his luck had once been brighter, back when he was a child in the orphanage—the happiest time of his life.

But everything changed when he lost his only family and childhood friend to a mysterious illness at the age of twelve. Left alone, homeless, and adrift, he felt like the most forsaken soul in the world.

No matter how hard he tried, her face faded from his memory after her death, and he couldn't help but curse himself for forgetting the visage of the most important person in his life.

Over time, he felt his emotions slip away, leaving him numb and indifferent, like a stray dog or a forgotten ghost.

Shaking off the weight of his past, he raised his hand and clicked on the novice gift, pushing aside thoughts of his misfortune.

No matter his circumstances, he was determined to grow stronger. He would stop at nothing to achieve it, for he still carried two promises deep within his heart—one to himself and one to her.
