Coming to an agreement, the boys had requested to leave the Academy for the rest of the day, in order to do some 1-Star Quests for the Guild.

When they got accepted to leave, Kaleb had grabbed a small satchel, and his Carrier Ring.

Looking at Wes, Kaleb hadn't seen a Carrier Ring, or any supplies on him as well. Looking at the confused look on Kalebs face, Wes had to lie and tell him he did have one, it's just that he had to turn it in when he had arrived.

"That's weird, they usually don't take them, since they don't work here anyways," informed Kaleb.

Giving Kaleb a shrug, Wes excused himself from the room.

Now out the the room, Kaleb had started to call out, but Wes had already run down the hall, and turned the corner.

Pausing for a few seconds, he didn't hear any footsteps following him, so Kaleb must have stay back in the dorm.

After a minute or two, Wes walked back to the dorm room where Kaleb sat waiting.

"Where did you go man?" He said half worried

"I had to give my ring to Rita when I came into the City," Wes began to say.

"Rita?" Kaleb said confused

"Oh right, you don't know her. Shes our homeroom teacher," Wes informed Kaleb.

"Why'd you give your ring to our teacher?" Kaleb asked with a confused look on his face.

"It's a long story dude," said Wes with a sigh.

"Say no more!" Kaleb shouted

"It's all your business."

"Thanks dude," Wes said

"No Problem bud," replied Kaleb giving Wes a fist-bump.

"Ready to head out?" Kaleb asked, standing up.

"Let's go," Wes said as he followed Kaleb out the door.

At the Guild Building, both boys were clueless about which 1-Star Quests to do.

"How about killing 20 slimes?" Kaleb offered, holding up a flyer.

Looking up from his own small pile of flyers, Wes replied, "Nah, pays not very good at all for 20 of them."

Looking at the flyers in front of him, Wes had found a few that caught his interest.

[Kill 10 Giant Bats: Reward: 30 copper]

[Aquire 100ft of Spider Silk: Reward: 200 copper]

Both quests give Wes a great opportunity to Level up, and make some money.

Showing the quests to Kaleb, they walk up to the counter to talk to Ralph.

"So I see you've returned," Ralph said as they approached.

"Seems like it," Wes joked,

"Can me and my friend here make a party and take these two quests, please?"

"Sure thing, kid," Ralph said.

Getting out his scanner, Ralph asked the boys for their hands.

Watching the screen, Wes watched as both his, and Kalebs profiles were added into a folder.

"Now in our system, you two are now in a party," Ralph told them.

"you better be responsible now, ya hear," he said,pointing at both of them.

Ralph must've seen that Wes didn't take it 100% seriously.

"Dude," nudged Kaleb

Looking back over to Ralph, Ralph began to explain that how since both of them were in a party, one members actions can effect the party as a group.

Nodding, Wes understood.

"Yes sir, I'll do my best to stay out of trouble," he said, assuringly.

After a few moment more, Ralph had accepted their Quest request.

Looking at the sudden system message, Wes checked his current Quest log,

The most noticeable thing about the Quests in the system to Wes, Was the difference in rewards.

'Does that mean the system rewards are a completely different from Guild rewards?' Wes thought.

After thanking Ralph, Wes and Kaleb Made their way over to SMITHY'S.

Opening the door, they hear a loud greeting from far back in the shop.

"Welcome!" they heard from the back room, "I'll be with you in just a sec."

Walking up to the counter, They waited until the Owner came out.
