Acting Like A Jealous Boyfriend?

All the girls who chose to walk with the rest of the crowd in front of the cultural stage out of pure curiosity can't help raising their eyebrows upon seeing the infamous girl who just recently kicked their prince Xian after all the good things the latter has done for her, including manifesting his love for her.

"Yeah, it's alright," says one girl named Gu Changying who's been the president and founder of Xian's official fans club since her freshman years. She was also Xian's classmate in all his subjects. "I wonder what she is up to right now."

"Is she also flirting with my love, Leo? The nerve!" says her friend with the fake red shoulder-length hair standing on the right.

"I can't believe she really has the guts to flirt with almost all the famous guys in the school. First, Zhao Chen… then Lim Xian… and now Leo Tang?" The girl with curly waist-length black hair says while snickering.

"I know right," Changying sneers. "Let's see what she will do right now and hope that she will embarrass herself up there."

"Right!" Her friends said in chorus and the three of them laughed amusingly.

Speaking of Lim Xian, it was at that moment when all the members of the Alpha Four came on the scene as they gracefully walked towards the crowd of curious students who were also waiting for what the band would serve them with the infamous flying kick girl among their band right now.

The crowd of girls started making a fuss as soon as all four of them also stood with the rest of the students and waited on what would happen next.

"Oh my gosh, it's Lim Xian and his friends!"

"I wonder what he feels now after seeing his girlfriend, whom he poured his heart out the other day, hanging out with the Steel Punk lead vocalist?"

"The nerve for that girl to cheat with our prince? And she is not even that pretty!"

Hearing these annoying fuss from the other students who love to talk sh*t about other people irritated Lim Xian at some point, making him send his infamous cold stare to those who are standing behind him.

"Shut the hell up," Lim Xian said as coldly as he could, which stunned all the people into their places.

"Now, now, calm down, will ya'?" Liu Yang crooned as he tried to lighten up the mood once more after all the girls went silent with Lim Xian's indifferent behavior just now.

"Your little girlfriend is about to perform. In fact, don't think you have ever mentioned to us that your girlfriend was a singer!" Yang Shunyuan added.

Lim Xian looked at them as if they are completely nuts before replying, "That's because I don't know either, you assholes!"

"Ahh, is that so?" Wang Qing He said calmly as he tilted his head to look at the girl on stage right now. They are all standing in the front row after the kind students have paved the way for them to be there and he, too, was somewhat looking forward as to what Li Meilin is about to show them all.

"I wonder if she, indeed, has a golden voice that is opposite to your annoying cold voice," Wang Qing He teased as he looked back at Lim Xian, who is now glaring at him.

"What the hell did you just say?"

"If she has a really good voice, I don't think I can't hold back any longer," Yang Shunyuan adds that made Lim Xian swiftly turn his head to look at him.

"What the hell, you too Shunyuan?"

"I'm even going to propose right there and then if this turns out really good," Liu Yang joins in, making Lim Xian's attention shift to him at a lightning speed.

"What the hell is wrong with you, people?" Lim Xian says frantically but then halts when realizing what he is doing just now.

Wait a minute, why am I even acting like this? It's not like I care about her or something like that. In fact, he could just let them do whatever they would like to do to her, he doesn't care any longer.

However, it was too late for him to act normal now for Wang Qing He, the ever-observant one, saw it all and smirked at him as he scoots closer to him.

"The question here is…" Wang Qing He whispers. "What is wrong with you? It's as if you are acting like a jealous boyfriend over here."

Hearing what his buddy has to say made Lim Xian sneer and turn his head away from him in a really snobby way, one of the few indications that he is in an in denial stage right now.

"Ha! Who says I'm jealous, you fool? Of course, I am not jealous. Why would I be if all the girls on this campus want every piece of me?" Lim Xian says these all in one breath, another indication that he was being in denial, within Wang Qing He\s earshot only.

"And besides…" Lim Xian tried to reason out with him as he added this. "That girl is way too ugly and boring for me,"

"Ah, deny all you want, I don't care since you are obviously lying." Wang Qing Hw teased him even more while laughing at him.

"I said I am not!"

"Yeah, yeah…"

"You guys…" Yang Shunyuan cuts into their conversation. "I think the show is about to start."

"Really?" Lim Xian snaps back to reality and shushes all his friends right there and then when he's the one who was being noisy earlier.

And so their little argument ended there when the band's drummer gave a little drum introduction and soon, all band members started playing a song that is not so familiar with these guys.

Right after Li Meilin sang the first few lines of the song, even though it was all humming right from the start, it was when Lim Xian felt his heart pounding inside his chest that made him uneasy long before he even realized it within himself.
