Lucas seemed to walk slowly around the body of Selena who was standing nearby. He deliberately wanted to heat up Selena. In fact, he still hadn't changed that sinister look. A look full of hatred.
Meanwhile, Selena's eyes seemed to follow Lucas' every movement. Lucas' words this time made her feel so deeply hurt. She couldn't be treated so lowly by any man, she thought.
"Was it that easy for you to find a replacement for me?" Selena looked at Lucas with teary eyes.
"Yes, as easy as you betrayed me." Lucas seemed to be pouting his lips.
It seems, Lucas is still not satisfied with all of Selena's treatment of him. He wanted to see Selena feel pain because of it. That's not much. He could have done more than that, but he didn't have to do it now. He thought it would be better to destroy Selena slowly and protractedly.
"Are you really that bad?" Selena could no longer hold back her tears. Slowly the crystal beads fell down her cheeks. She didn't think that Lucas could hurt her so deeply.
"You taught me to do this."
"You—"
"Get out of my room right now!" Lucas said looking disgusted at Selena's face.
Lucas immediately rushed to his desk, then called someone who didn't know who it was.
Before five minutes, two security guards entered Lucas' room. They immediately flanked Selena's body, as if they had understood what they had to do at that time.
"Take that woman out!" Lucas said firmly to the two security guards who were now standing in front of him.
"Yes, Sir," answered the two security guards at the same time
"Lucas, you can't treat me like this!" Selena shouted as two security guards dragged her out of Lucas' room.
Lucas had deliberately contacted security. He was at his wits end to kick Selena out of his room, so he decided to send someone over. For him, there is no pity for those who have hurt him. People like Selena would be better off if they disappeared from his life.
"Lucas, please give me a chance!" Selena still didn't want to give up, even though the two security guards were still trying to hold her by the arm, dragging her further and further away from Lucas' room.
It seems, Selena has cut her own shame. In fact, she didn't care about all of Lucas' employees. who previously respected her greatly, now actually sneered at her.
Selena kept screaming Lucas' name. However, Lucas really didn't care about her. In fact, she still would not forgive, even if she knelt at her feet. She's too precious for a cheap woman like Selena, she thought.
Lucas just smirked hatefully, staring at Selena who was getting further and further away from his sight. However, of course he was still carried away by emotions. Seeing Selena who was present in front of him, made him remember sweet memories with that woman. Until the work desk became a target to vent his anger at that time.
"Arrgghhh!" Lucas seemed to sweep away all the things on the table with his hands.
"I won't let anyone who has ruined my feelings live happily, including you, Selena!" He growled with ragged breaths, because he was holding back so much emotion.

The sound of sobbing made Filia, who had just arrived home from work, seem to slow down her pace. She tried to clear her hearing of the sound that sounded still faint. She was already able to determine who the owner of the voice.
Filia continued to walk very carefully, she even tried to keep her shoes from making a sound. Until her steps stopped in front of Ellena's room. Filia heard more clearly the sound of the sobs.
"What happened to Ellena? Why does she sound so sad?" mumbled Filia.
Filia was about to knock on Ellena's door, but she immediately stopped. She decided to go straight into the room, hoping the door wasn't locked.
Sure enough. Filia immediately opened the door, when she realized that it was not locked. Filia was seen bending her knees on the bed while burying her face in her knees.
Realizing someone had entered her room, Ellena immediately looked up, then settled on Filia with a sad look. In a flash she wiped her tears, even though Filia had already seen her.
"Filia?" Ellena hissed.
Ellena's face was red, plus her eyes were already puffy, making Filia sure that her best friend had been crying for a long time. Filia looked sadly at Ellena's face. She didn't really know exactly what problem Ellena was facing. However, she was sure that her friend was facing such a big problem.
"What are you doing, Elle?" Filia looked at Ellena questioningly.
Seeing Ellena who was trying to hold back tears in front of her, Filia immediately embraced Ellena's body. She couldn't bear to see her friend sad like that.
Ellena could no longer hold back her tears. She burst into tears in Filia's arms, pouring out all the emotions, sadness and anxiety that she had been keeping to herself for so long. Just counting the days, she will become Lucas' legal wife.
Even though it was only a contract marriage, it really made her sad to think about it. however the status will change, after the contract expires. Either Keenan will still accept it or not. Apart from her life, her love is also at stake, and that is enough to make her helpless.
"Elle, I don't know what happened to you. But if you're really having a big problem, you can tell me. You still think of me as your best friend, don't you?" Filia tried to persuade.
Ellena only responded with sobs that got louder and louder, making her breath catch.
Filia tightened her grip even more, then rubbed Ellena's back, trying to soothe her.
"I know you are a strong woman, so rest assured that you can overcome all your problems."
"No! This is very difficult for me, Filia." Ellena shook her head repeatedly.
Hearing Ellena who started to speak, Filia stretched her body from Ellena's body. She looked at the face that was still full of tears. Meanwhile, Ellena still hasn't ended her sobs.
"Tell me, what made you cry like this?" Filia looked seriously at Ellena's face.
"You don't trust me, so it's so hard to tell me all your troubles?" Filia asked when Ellena didn't respond to her question first.
Ellena immediately told Filia all her problems. Even though her best friend couldn't turn things around again, but at least she would feel a little relieved, after spilling all her feelings.
