╚O▀O═ [To the Shark TV] ╚O▀O═
ㅤ
At the same time, on Shark TV.
Although it was during the Chinese New Year, many anchors, both large and small, were still live-streaming various games, parodies, and movies.
____In some Channel...__________
But in my live broadcast room, I was showing the audience my thighs.
What????????
"Look at this! You wanted to see my thighs, but don't you say You all wanted to see it!" I spoke while staring at the camera in front of me, my expression was fierce like a tiger cub.
[!!!!!!!!!!!!! Isn't R-18 content banned from streaming???]
"Brother, why? Am I making you dissatisfied?" I wrote on the chat...
"It's just okay, nothing special!"
"Hey, let's live stream the new game this holiday season. Chen Xu's latest work, Overcooked, is out, and it looks pretty good." Someone else added.
"I've seen it too. Overcooked looks like a lot of fun!"
During the stream, I noticed a comment about this new game on the chat.
'Oh, isn't it New Year's Eve? I'm just showing you things, you guys like to watch, to improve our connection. It's not like I enjoy these things!' I mused
"Look, a multiplayer co-op game! In time, let's check if Ah Shu can join." I added this new comment and pinned it at the top of the channel.
______________
I opened the game platform, searched for Overcooked, and realized this was another game by Chen Xu.
I've got some memories of Chen Xu, the game designer. From To The Moon, which felt so heartwarming, to Escape, which scared me senseless—it was quite a change in tone.
After checking out the game, I also opened the stream of another anchor in the Shark TV gaming section. A lot of us know each other, We are like underwear buddies, and multiplayer games are fun to play together.
I popped into his stream. He was wearing a baseball cap, black-rimmed glasses, a little chin beard, and a black shirt and was telling a story. He looks fashionable and also a bit funny. Furthermore, he looks like a thug.
"Society is so much better now! Back in the day, you had hooligans loitering outside the school gates! What were they up to? Extorting money! I remember it vividly, they'd come over, tap you on the head, and say: Brother, lend me some money, and I'll pay it back later. But if you're in school, make sure you tell me. If you didn't fork over the cash, you'd get a smack across the ear. You either gave it willingly or they'd take it themselves."
"Brother Shu, you seem familiar with this. Did you often steal money from others back in the day?" I wrote it in the chat.
"Hehe... hahaha... Let me tell you, if I had been doing that all the time, my performance wouldn't be this convincing. The victim and perpetrator have different perspectives, after all." Ah Shu added
While Ah Shu was recalling his school days, I sent him a message, and viewers from both our streams started spamming the chat.
"Well, well, look who's here! Long time no see! Is this Squad Leader Dong? He is inviting me! No problem—join me in the voice channel."
We both hopped on the voice channel.
"So, Squad Leader Shu, how have you been?"
"Very good, very good!"
For the effect of the show, we were polite to each other.
"Just the two of us? I think up to four people can play this game," I said.
"It seems we can still play against each other. Why don't I see if I can call two more people? Liu and Zhuang seem to be playing this game, should I ask them?" I further suggested.
"Okay, go ahead and ask them," Ah Shu replied.
Soon, two more people joined the voice channel.
As the four of us formed a group, the audience in our respective live broadcast rooms became excited, and various comments came flooding in.
After all, during daily live streams, we usually play our games, and it's rare to have such combined interaction.
It coincided with the Chinese New Year period, and with a multiplayer game like "Overcooked," it was the perfect opportunity for this kind of collaboration.
"Should we jump straight into PVP? I'm not familiar with it yet," I asked.
"No need for that, I also have not tried it yet," Ah shu recalled.
"How should we split the teams?" Liu asked in the voice chat.
"I'll team up with the old man, and you'll be with Zhuang," Ah Shu said.
After a bit of discussion, we settled on the teams.
When entering PVP mode for the first time, there were prompts to guide us through.
Creating private rooms, choosing maps, and setting rules weren't difficult.
We opted for the default mode and then entered the game.
However, to get familiar with the game mechanics, we decided to go through the tutorial level.
The tutorial level of "Overcooked" was simple and gradual: chopping vegetables, combining ingredients, cooking rice, washing dishes, and dealing with environmental obstacles.
So, we all felt it was pretty easy at first.
But once we entered battle mode, everything felt completely different.
The flurry of orders, combined with the intense background music, created an inexplicable sense of urgency.
It was like being in a chaotic restaurant kitchen with customers waiting impatiently. The urgency was bonking our heads.
Unlike the tutorial, the battle mode was more complex, mixing cooking, chopping, and dishwashing tasks.
The most challenging part was that we were separated, making it impossible to agree on a single task as a team.
Suddenly, things got hectic.
----------------
"Zhuang cut the meat. Cut the meat!" Liu who was using the controller, shouted at Zhuang.
"Sis, stop rushing me! The dishes are piling up! You haven't even washed them, and what's the point of me cutting the meat? Can't you cut it over there?" Zhuang retorted, venting his frustrations.
"What did you say?" Liu glared at Zhuang using an emoji with a bad expression.
"It's nothing... nothing, sister, I'm serving the food, I'm serving it!" Zhuang shrank his neck in fright, and then he remembered that although he was wearing headphones to communicate through the voice channel.
Liu was originally in a hurry, but when she saw Zhuang so frightened in the voice channel, she was taken aback. He took the food and handed it to the delivery port.
"Zhuang, wake up! Wake up! This dish hasn't been finished yet, so why did you serve it? And this is not our food delivery port, this is the opposite side!" She looked at Zhuang, stunned that he had sent out the dishes that weren't ready.
On the other hand, Dong Zhen and Ah Shu were not faring much better.
"Squad Leader Dong, we want to sell this dish. Can we stop throwing it on the ground? We are not some cheap kitchen!" Ah Shu complained.
"Don't worry about this dish! Squad Leader Shu! Hurry up! Rice is on fire, and you are still picking up vegetables! Hurry up and put out the fire!!" I said calmly in the voice.
"No! The fire came from next door! And didn't you throw this dish on the ground!" Ah shu complained again.
"Then who can't stop you!"
"Can you blame me? If you don't put the table, you keep throwing it on the ground!"
In this way, we two began to argue over a trivial matter.
While making noise and cooking, we became even more busy as casters.
With various urgings of orders, the entire kitchen was a complete mess.
Looking at the chaotic live broadcast room, the barrage laughed, mocked, and trolled us even more.
"Haha, Big sister and brothers have come to the brink of collapse from being inseparable!"
"This is a state of rupture!"
"This is so funny."
"Does this game promote emotional warming? Why do I feel like they are about to hit each other?"
"Isn't it to promote emotional warming? Look at the old man's red face."
"This is a nonsense kitchen; this is a quarrel kitchen!"

Quite a few characters talking and conversing simultaneously. It was too confusing. Hopefully, I tried not to mess up the POVs.
In case there are any errors or mix-ups, sorry for that, and please do comment it out.
It will be quite helpful.
