Iris lays on the couch on the border of consciousness. She could hear Akatsuki and Aruka talking. "That can't be true Akatsuki the Ichijo family is an honorable one. If this is the case maybe the spell used on her is braking. She may regain memories and may not want to marry you. I doubt it though she loves you." Aruka sounds worried about me. "Mom the fact of the matter is she was never a hunter. That was the point of the marriage between us. Yes we gained some romantic feelings for one another. You have to see it at the end of the day she is just another vampire." Akatsuki said he sounds scared and upset over everything. "Well according to the birth certificate we have she was born to a hunter family. There for the Ichijo family has no right or claim to her. She will be a Kain woman soon enough. " Aruka said making sense the Ichijo family did abandon her.

Akatsuki pov

After my mother left I sat holding Iris's hand. "They are gone you can wake up now." I said knowing she was awake. When her molten amber eyes met mine all I could do was hold her. She just cried she was sorry and that she didn't know. My heart broke knowing she is so hurt and nothing I could do. "Iris darling listen to me you owe the Ichijo family nothing. They threw you aside the family of hunters that took you in. They are your family because family stands by family no matter race,color,sex,sexual preference. Family is family and you never need say more. You will be my family and we will create a loving home for our children. We will have many gatherings of friends and family. All you need do is say yes." I said having her look at me. "You really do want me even after knowing what happened?" She asked souding a little shocked. "From the day we met to the day we die. My feelings for you will never change." I said before kissing her the tears she shed burns my cheeks. The good thing out of all this is she will not leave me. She will still go threw with the wedding as planned. I just hope Takuma doesn't try anything between now and then. Only a few more days till I do please let it not be ruined in any way.
