Chapter 3

Nandini was thinking about Rishu while driving. Rishab was everything to her, more than a brother he was like friend too, obedient kid and really studious. He was making thier father's dream true by becoming a doctor. He was in his third year of medicine course and was doing it pretty well. Nandu was always interested in business and finances hence she chose MBA in finance and was a topper. After losing their parents ten years back to a car accident Amms was their everything. She made sure she gave them best upbringing. Uncle(Dad's younger brother) and Aunty were settled in London with their 10 year old son Atharv. They visited India once in a year and that would be the most amazing family time for Murthys.

Nandini Murthy came out of her thoughts when she felt a sudden jerk.

Kirrrrrrrrrrrr.... her car made a peculiar sound and stopped abruptly. Nandini got down to check what was wrong she opened the car bonnet as if she knew how to repair. She was too tensed as it was forest area and it was almost eight and she was just thirty miles away from Lonavala. She checked her phone but the no signal made her heart beat rapid. She wasn't sure if she could take somebody's help at this hour, in unknown and remote place.

Few vehicles were passing by but she didn't stop any out of fear.

Distance away from her car, Manik said "Stop" to his driver. He had seen Nandini struggling with her car but couldn't see her face as she was busy checking the engine.

He thought for a while why is he interested in helping a stranger and then decided to continue with his journey but something stopped him, it was a wierd feeling he didn't know what it was but he decided to help, unaware of the fact that their destination was same.

So he told his driver "Lets wait here she might come or else you can go there and offer help and you can drop her wherever she wants I will come with Maddy as he would be reaching here any moment." As he didn't wanted to travel with stranger, nor would she be comfortable with a stranger. The driver agreed and they both stood there waiting.

It getting darker she was too scared to even look around.

She started walking in the direction unknown what will come up next she was too much engrossed in her thoughts just cursing her friend for forcing her to join her birthday party and her phone had no network coverage to make any call.

She was silently praying her God "Ohhh why today all this had to happen why did my car break down in this secluded area." She could almost feel her eyes getting teary.

Oh gosh what's going to happen now..all these thoughts were attacking. She kept on walking with maximum speed.

Suddenly she saw a vehicle coming towards her in no moment she was pulled by strong arms towards a tree that had little shelter to have got at that place. She was blank for few minutes because of the impact of stranger's pull in fraction of second.

Next moment that person was talking to someone else instructing him to drop her wherever her destination was as her car broke down. She was too shocked to hear him say that because she had not seen a single vehicle from long time. She again started praying to her God oh why me?!

I hope he is not any vampire thinking about that she started shivering. She tried to see his face but it was too dark to even see the slightest of any of his body part, he asked her to get in the car and his driver will drop her wherever she wanted.

Within no seconds he started walking with his phone making a call, quietly, she sat in the back seat thinking how he had phone network. She was too drained to think anything further.

And once the flash lights of some other car fell on his back all that she could see was well built tall body with a small sun tatoo with M letter on his neck, she could see that as he was wearing white T-shirt which had lower back neck. The tattoo was dark and crystal clear.

In a moment she felt her body jerk as the car drove real fast and she had to put break on her thoughts disappointingly. She tried talking to the driver but he didn't react a bit except for asking where she wanted to be dropped.

Nandini kept on thinking she couldn't even thank him, had he not pulled her she would have got crushed under that vehicle "Lord, thank you so much for helping me...." but she thought she shouldn't trust the driver and so she browsed her phone which had just got some signal and decided to get dropped at some busy area not revealing him exact address. So she gave him some address which was some five miles away from Veebha's Farm house.

She thanked the driver many a times and asked him to pass on her heartfelt gratitude to the person who was responsible for her safe journey.

She knew the place very well so was confident that she will make it there safely.

She called a cab and reached the destination without much trouble. Finally!!

Manik was walking conversing with Maddy, pleading him to reach there fast and pick him up. Suddenly he stumbled "What the heck!!ouch my toe!!," he ended the call and saw at the big stone in pain, and then something glittered he started his mobile torch and picked up that object. He saw it carefully it was a beautiful bracelet with letter N carved wondefully with diamond studs and had rainbow colored strap which was just stunning. He had never seen such beautiful bracelet. He thought, seems like tonight someone will cry for their bracelet. Hmmm what was he supposed to do with it, he decided to put it back, but suddenly something flashed to him it could belong girl whom he pulled and so it could have just unfastened and fell off, thinking that he put that bracelet in his T-shirt pocket, he felt something again weird, something really unexplainable, never had he felt like that. Just then he heard loud car horn. It was Maddy and they both started their bantering about what, how and why.
