Chapter 36 : Heading to Nemur
"What dragon?" Alex asked wondering what Damien was talking about
"well ever since I casted that temporal spell which teleported you guys I started feeling weak and ever since then I have been entering a subconscious state where i am trapped in a white room and a red door with a lot of books that where written in a different language but when I was trapped now u noticed all the books in that library had a dragon emblem" Damien replied confusing them even more
"so you read even in your subconscious" Alex replied amused at Damien's addiction to books
"that isn't the point Alex" Natasha said
"well it is literally the point the boy goes to a library even in his subconscious" Alex said
"I do support him even in your subconscious there is a library why" Regent suddenly chimed in
"thank you like how do you cope" Alex asked
"no that isn't the point here is that he saw an emblem if a dragon and then right before that he howled flames from hell at us flames that burn anything and everything deadly flames" she said
"you know I do manage it I like reading" Damien replied Regent
"try doing it again lets see if you can control it" Alex said
"yeah do it lets know" Natasha said as Damien stood up and walked away from them as he raised his hands and tried but nothing happened
"you used your mouth so try using it again" Regent informed Damien who switched to trying with his mouth but still there was nothing.
"awh there's nothing it is not working" Damien said rubbing his cheeks.
"we can bother about that later" Alex said "right now we need to leave this valley if not the Grandmaster will eliminate us " Alex said
"you are right cause the Grandmaster has declared himself the official Emperor of Avalon and he has changed the rulers of the dynasty putting his demon Generals in the rule so we would definitely need to go cause we can't handle a full force attack" Damien replied
"but how would we move I mean where would we even go" Natasha asked "and besides how would we carry mom" she asked
"I have an idea for that but I still don't know where we would go?" Damien asked
"Nemur we can head to Nemur" Regent suddenly chimed in
"Nemur uses it would be a good place to go" Alex replied
"we need to get ready "Damien replied

"your Majesty we have a very alarming news" a demon Generals voice was heard in the throne room
"what is it?" Penelope asked
"the army that was sent to the valley have been killed" he stated as he looked at the frown on the kings face
"all of them?" the Emperor asked
"yes your Majesty all of them" he said angering the Emperor even more.
"hmm fine, what about Alexander and his friends are they at least dead" he asked
"five of their men died during the battle if we send another attack now they wouldn't survive it " the General said
"ow please don't even think about that they are meant to be dead by now but their not I don't have time to waste soldiers and besides the demon soldiers from the underworld are all weaklings I could strike a hundred down without breaking a sweat" he said frowning "I would rather fill myself up with greater might and energy in order to call forth a stronger beast" he stated
"yes your Majesty" he replied
"I want you to get something for me" he said as he lifted a book
"I want you to head to the Avalonian sea and bring me the the jewel of Nemur do you understand" he asked
"yes your Majesty" he replied
"here is the map you would find the jewel at the top of the water mountain" he said handing him a paper
"you are to take sixty soldiers and a ship and set sail at midnight " he said "now leave" he said watching the General exit the throne room
'with that stone I would be able to call forth a larger and stronger army than this I would then be known as the one true Monarch' he thought to himself as a wry smile spread across his face.

Back at the valley they where already preparing to leave as they had formed two wooden carriages and a wheelbarrow with their earth elemental magic they had also hooked the horses to the carriages as they loaded all their equipment onto the wheelbarrow and where already set to leave.
"how did you get such a deep wound?" Natasha asked as she touched Damien's wounded back
"I was hit by something I don't know what he hit me with" Damien replied as he applied a substance on it
"why didn't you just teleport with us?" she asked
"well if I had done that you wouldn't have gotten farther and we would have eventually been caught and they didn't know we were at the valley it would have just exposed that Intel and besides you guys needed a distraction to shift their attention away from you even if it was for six seconds" Damien replied wearing his shirt.
"why are you even helping us cause our rule wouldn't benefit you my brother wasn't good to you either so why are you helping us " she asked
"I promised Alex I would help him find his light his true light against the darkness what he was scared of is what happened his father is dead and his mom is in a sleep trance so if I leave I would go back on my word and also I feel like I am meant for this like I was created for this and I am here at the right time and also don't you want me to help " he replied looking at her
"ofcourse I want you to help you are extraordinarily strong" she said smiling as she kissed him taking him by surprise as he kissed her too. they where lost in their business that they didn't notice someone approaching them
"hey don't do that it's weird" Alex said walking towards them making them stop their intimacy
"we are leaving mom and Damien's mom have left in the first carriage along with half of the men" Alex said
"did the first carriage only carry the two of them" Damien asked
"no three men are in it to " Alex said as they entered the second which Regent and Asha were on.
"hey you are already here" Regent said as he hit the wooden wall of the carriage as the man who was on it whipped the horses and they started to leave.
"the two carriage can't host all the men so most of them are riding beside us " Alex told Damien
"maybe we should have made four " Natasha asked
"no it is better this way if we are all inside the carriage everyone is going to become comfortable leaving us vulnerable" Regent said as he pointed towards Damien who had already started to sleep.
