Chapter 32 : Sell Swords

Raia had gathered five sell swords who had at least ten to twenty men on their end. Avalon was a kingdom known for its powerful people so it didn't have lots of sell swords so finding five was luck on their side

"we need to rescue my friend he has been taken hostage by the Grandmaster and we really need to get him back" Alex told them

"we don't care about the details we just need to know how much you'd pay for it " The Regent asked. the Regent is a sell sword who had ten men on his team he was from the Persia the kingdom that was known for its massive gold businesses, even though the Regent was from a golden kingdom he still loved the battles and adventures that was what gave him the drive to become a sell sword.

"you want us to fight the Grandmaster and his demon soldiers for you " an Avalonian sell sword spoke "no way cause you royalties are jerks and you deserve what comes of you and your friend and if I where the rest of you I would turn and leave cause you would loose your lives" he added as he turned and left influencing three more people to turn and leave with him leaving only the Regent and a female sell sword who was from the kingdom of Aristorsha known as a brutal dungeon as it was a kingdom that was ruled by a deadly monarch who never bowed his head to no one.

"aren't you going to follow them?" Alex asked

"you want me to leave cause I will leave if you don't need my assistance " Asha stated

"no we need the help but first how many men do you have?" Alex asked

"I have four men" Asha said looking over to Regent

"ten" he simply stated

"how much do you guys charge?" Alex inquired

"a hundred per men" Asha replied

"I charge a hundred and eighty per men" he replied

"fine you'd recieve your payment in full when you deliver" Alex stated

"kid look that's not how it worked you pay half before mission then pay balance after mission" Regent explained

"he is right" Asha backed the statement

"firstly I am not a kid secondly I don't have the complete payment with me yet I just have nine hundred tops here so I was aiming at selling some belongings and paying you off at once" Alex said looking at them

"fine we would take that" Regent replied stretching his hands as Alex handed them the bag of gold. Peering into the bag they split the payment before they left to prepare for the mission.

Waking up Damien found Penelope in his room sitting at the dinning eating the food that was brought for him.

"what are you doing here?" he asked frowning

"my father sparred your life he released you he gave you comfortablility sent you a meal and yet you resist all this let me give you a simple advise stop or else you would loose everything" she said as she threw a half bitten apple at him.

Looking at the apple Damien eventually took a bite making Penelope smile wonderously. Damien didn't know but when Penelope walked into the room and noticed him sleeping and his food untouched she applied her enchanted lip gloss before waking him up and taking the apple as she bit the apple she left reminant of her gloss on the apple enchanting it to before tossing it over to Damien who in turn bit from the enchanted apple making her smile.

Bitten from the apple Damien became enchanted as his mind became gaulible. Noticing Damien swallow the apple Penelope walked up to him as she stood him up and kissed him allowing herself access to Damien's subconscious mind which was now gaulible.

As she kissed Damien she saw all the secrets of Damien's subconscious including the white room with the red door.

Pulling away from Damien she felt Overwhelmed because Damien's mind was like a vast universe that was full of knowledge and spells. Drawing away from Damien Penelope was suprised at how overwhelming Damien was and what shocked her more was the level of strength Damien had and the numbers of spells Damien had mastered and also in such a short time.

"ugh why did you do that ?" Damien asked shocked at what just happened

"sorry I just got carried away" Penelope answered before she turned and left his room

"hmm spying on me huh" Damien said as he cleaned the enchanted lip gloss of his lips as he too left his room

Penelope went straight to the throne room to tell he father about Damien but on getting there she met him discussing with a man who was none other than the sell sword who had walked away from Alex he had come here to sell information to the Grandmaster about the whereabouts of Alexander and the other. Hearing the information from the sell sword the Emperor looked at General Mawson and the demon General

"I want them dead now go" he ordered sending them out of the throne room immediately before signaling the second demon General to take the sell sword out and reward him for the information before noticing his daughter walking straight towards him.

"what did you see in his head?" he asked standing up and walking towards her "did you find the source of his strength?" he added

"no father his subconscious is very vast and wide and so is the number of spells he has learnt" she said "he has learnt over sixty spells and yet in such a short period of time I am not sure he is s lowborn" she said

"hmm then we need to either eliminate him or we win him over" he said rubbing his chin

"i say we win him over with his incredible power we would become a very great empire " she replied smiling

"fine then we begin after I have done my gr as nd announcement to the people" he said as he walked out.
