Chapter 27 : Getting Help

Picking up the General they tied him to a tree as they healed his wounds so he could convince the Emperor that they weren't in the valley.

"hey i don't get one thing though if Alex is the prince of light as the prophecy says he would be able to destroy the Emperors plan so why did he send you to capture us and not kill even if he wants energy it isn't something you take chances with" Damien said looking at the General

"you know all those times you spent in the library has made you really smart huh " he replied looking at Damien.

"yeah now answer me" Damien said

"well i will explain it for you. the prophecy is fake he made it up so he wouldn't give any gift " the General said looking at the three of them

"that's a lie how will you now explain the flaming star?" one soldier simply stated.

"well i don't know he didn't give details how about you come with me so you could get them yourself" he said as he looked at his injuries.

"there are two things either you are lying or telling the truth if you are lying it is to discourage us from fighting or to distract us from his army and uf ut is the truth it is to tell us that we have no hope of wining because Alex doesn't have what we thought he had but even still we believe we can win so and get the kingdom back " Damien plainly stated as he held the necklace in front of the General as they sent him back.

General Mawson had left the valley as he headed back to the castle to report to the Emperor. Entering the throne room he saw thousands of soldiers in the throne room it seemed like the Emperor was preparing to wage war with another kingdom.

Seeing the General without any prisoners he frowned.

"where are the prisoners" he shouted as he stared at the General who immediately froze out of shock

"they weren't at the valley ir seems they have fled Avalon" he quickly said bowing.

"hmm it isn't possible they couldn't flee Avalon in such a short time it takes at least two nights to be able to leave the borders so they are still in Avalon" he said looking up "Mawson i put you in charge of finding them and to make sure you do find them i will give you aid" he said pointing towards the demon General standing three feets away from him "Mawson this is Xerces he is a fire demon he would lead his section of fire demons in your search for them do find them and i want a hundred soldiers to be dispatched at every border angle of Avalon so they don't leave do you understand me now leave" he said as the fire demon and the General bowed before leaving.

"father there is someone amongst them who i think we can be used to find them" a feminine voice was heard from the second throne.

"hmm who ?" he asked looking at the lady

"Damien salvatore " she said

"the prince's page how ?" he asked staring deep into her eyes

"if you can capture the woman he loves more than the Princess his mom" she simply stated

"hmm nice thinking Penelope" he said as he called two guards and told him to find the salvatore woman and also deliver a letter to Damien in secret.

Back at the valley

Damien didn't know what the Emperor was planning to do as he walked towards Natasha who was still trying to wake her mother up.

"hey i am sorry about your mom" Damien said as he sat close to her

"hmm she can pull through but my father" she said as her eyes watered

"sorry i am sorry" he said patting her

"Damien you weren't the one who killed him " she said holding his hands.

"i do know someone who can help her and even keep her away from this war" Damien said

"who is it, your mom" she asked as Damien nodded

"are you sure she would help" she asked

"i know my mom she would" he said as he felt something in his pocket. pulling it he saw it was an envelope he quickly opened it because he knew that there was nothing in his pocket before so what was this. Opening the letter Damien read it as his eyes widened in shock at what he read throwing it away he ran towards a tree untied a horse and climbed onto it as he galloped away heading out of the valley. Running away like that Natasha was shocked as to what he had read as she picked up the paper.

"what happened where is Damien heading to ?" Alex asked as he came nearer to Natasha.

"i don't know he just read this letter and took of " Natasha said as she opened the letter and read through it as she too was shocked at what was written

Dear Damien

my dad has sent two demon soldiers after your precious mother whom you love so much so right now they are heading to your house to kill your mom and ow nice trick making General Mawson lie about you guys been in the valley dont worry when they've killed your mom i would send you her heart so it would always be with you.

"what are we going to do now" she asked

"we need to help him " Alex said as they ran to inform the men.
