Chapter 11 : The Two Day Trial

He collected his payments before heading home that day. He spent most of it paying back the debts that they had collected over the years then he spent the rest on food stuffs and medications for his mother.

On getting home he saw his mom laying down he walked up to her and sat beside her

"here i bought your medication you are to take it "Damien said looking at her.

"thank you "she said as she took it drinking half the bottles

"thank you i thought you were mad at me"sge said looking at him

"i thought you were mad at me for disobeying you" Damien replied looking down

"i wasn't and i was trying to protect you but it seems you don't need protection" she said

"i am sorry, here i bought some food " he said giving her a bag of some foodstuffs

"thank you "she said smiling before getting up and heading to cook. Bringing the books out he started reading through it as he practiced his control over the three elementals to be able to call it at will, his mom was suprised to see that he had mastered the three elementals so quickly she knew he was strong but not like this. After practicing his control over the three elementals he began strengthening them.

"when did you start learning magic ?" Amelia asked

"today, i got really good" Damien said smiling

"here eat up " she said giving Damien a plate of food

"thanks" Damien said looking at her "can i ask you something?" he asked her staring at her

"what " she asked

"how did you strengthen your magic" Damien asked

"well i basically didn't cause i couldn't as you know onlg high borns and royals can strengthen their magic" she replied

"i dont believe that's crap, it is just a scheme to prevent us from reaching our peak to you know right" Damien said

"we are basically not as strong as them it is no scheme"she replied

"I think it is" Damien said as he layed down .

Getting to work the next day he prepared for the princes day. He was meeting the king and hus noblemen and also preparing for his up coming birthday in four days time.

"your birthday is un four days time wow you never told me that" Damien said

"i don't need to tell you that because everyone in the whole of Avalon knows my birthday and my name except you !" Alex said turning to look at Damien

"where and when were you born" Alex said turning back

"i don't know my mom never told me my birthday"

"what you are the biggest dummy i have ever seen you dont even know your birthday "Alex said walking into his father's library with Damien. Walking into the library Alex saw his father along with his Generals and noblemen.

"Alexander come i have a very important discussion with you, ohh the meeting is adjourned" he said as he walked towards his son making his Generals and noblemen leave the room

"sit" he told Alex as he looked at Damien "who are you?"he asked Damien

"Damien Salvatore Your Majesty" Damien replied bowing

"You must be the high born Garfield brought" he said looking at him

"He isn't a high born he us a low born" Alex said

"he isn't well that is interesting he has a strong aura" he said patting Damien's shoulders before turning to his son

"You are to select a maiden to escort you on your birthday preferably the daughter of Garcias "he said looking at Alex

"what! no i don't want to take her to my birthday party as my maiden i dont even want to court her "

"you don't have to court her if you dont want her but to show a bond between the Royal families and the Forseeres i ask you to take her as your maiden to your birthday"he said looking at him

"but father you don't know that girl she is pretty clingy and weird and besides she isn't even pretty and i wanted to take the most prettiest girl in Avalon" he said looking at his father

"don't argue with me like that, fine i will give you three things if you do this one thing for me you just have to tell me the three things you want and i will get it for you but do this for me " he said as he walked out of the room.

"hmmm, i hate that girl" Alex said before walking out

"i am going to feed the horses" Damien said as he turned and headed for the stables.

Getting to the stable he was feeding the horses when he heard a familiar voice

"it seems you are feeding the wrong horse" Natasha said as she walked towards him followed by her maid

"uhm yeah i don't know which horse belongs to Alex so i feed all of them " he said

"well it is that one over there" she said pointing towards the horse at the end of the stables with a white and golden color.

"huh and that's the one i feed less " he said staring at it "then who owns this one " he asked

"me "she said walking towards it .
