Day One

<p>Normally, when you are asked if you would volunteer to go to another world, you would have 1 of 3 reactions. First uneasiness as you are afraid of the unknown. Second extreme excitement as you will be like Christopher Columbus and chart a path to new territory and new discovery. Lastly, like my attitude at the time, extreme disinterest, I had zero interest in going enywere there was no internet.<br/><br/>Unfortunately for me, they stopped asking for volunteers and just told me you're going so man up. As such, my day has started out crappie. Thank you for asking. Along with me for the ride is my brother Tyr, so my day may be in the shitter but at least I'm not alone.<br/><br/>So as we walk through the portal to another world, I feel like I'm being pulled in all directions for a split second before we find ourselves in the middle of a forest. Now forests are nice and all, but this one looked dead, and that's not an analogy. The trees are seriously all dead. We also don't see or hear any animals or birds. The place is just dead, and the black sky doesn't help the ambiance much or at all. Really, im set on going back through the portal to get away from this place when.<br/><br/>DING!!!<br/><br/>Welcome to Eos, the world of magic and technology. "Yes yes it looks like it." With nothing else to say we just stare at the Character sheets in front of us.<br/><br/>Now don't get me wrong I wouldn't mind the world turning into an online game but there is a bigger problem approaching us at the minute. I stop gawking and listen for a second and what I heard was not a welcome sound and as I turn a little to the right I see what's coming at us. A fucking hoard of zombies I grab my brother's arm and start running but the portals gone so we can ither run or sit down for tea and cakes with zombies and I chose to run. As we sprint through the forest the zombies chase us this is less like The walking dead and more like World War Z as they sprint after us.<br/><br/>There are some humanoid zombies but the beast zombies outnumber them by a large margin just an fyi you know. As we run something weird starts to happen the system is back.<br/><br/>DING!!!<br/>Found unknown system in player Seygi attempting to start system...<br/>Failed <br/>Attempting again...<br/>Failed...Failed...failed...FAILED...fAiLeD...<br/><br/>Suddenly the system is going crazy with red failed fonts in every shape and size all I can think is crap I broke it then something worse happens.<br/><br/>SyStEm fAiLuRe HaS OcCuRrEdDdDdDd...<br/><br/>The administrator has taken over the system. The system Creator has started the unknown system...<br/>Success new system start-up booting...<br/><br/>The Evolution system has bin installed...<br/><br/>Good luck<br/><br/>And my heart almost stopped, but at least I didn't break it. Now, we just have to deal with the hoard behind us. As I'm thinking this, my brother points to the left and says, "There's a wall over there if we can get in that it should deal with the zombies." All I thought after that was thank God for good ideas, so we went for it.<br/><br/>When we got to the wall we followed it to the right hoping to get to the gate before we become zombie food and as that thought went through my mind I saw the gate still a good distance away. We looked at each other and nodded, then ran faster. The gate looked part open which is good for us as we go through the gate we slam it shut however we may not have needed to as the zombies came to a screeching halt the turned and went the other way in hind sight that should have bin a red flag. But all we cared about was we survived so go us.<br/><br/>Well, after we calmed down, we looked around a bit, and what we saw was a run-down mansion. More dead trees and what would have bin a rose garden with a fountain in the middle the mansion also was very bad second red flag but at this point we didn't care we needed a base of operation and this will do. Bad idea in hindsight.<br/><br/>As we walked into the mansion, it was a mess, but it was shelter, so we walked to the massive staircase and took a seat. I turn to my brother and ask what class he is and if he has that plus in his system.
