Samuel's Proposal

Melinda ran faster, trying to catch Samuel's big strode. "Wait!" She yelled.

But then Samuel stopped, he turned and waited for her to arrive.

"Why did you promise her to pay the money back? I know and you know we don't have the money!" She said the moment she faced Samuel.

"What happened? Tell me, I need to know first, to think of what I can do." Samuel said, looking at Melinda with a serious and concerned expression at the same time.

The warmth wind briskly touched their face, Melinda's silence making time seemed to stop.

"If you behave like this, I can't help you." Samuel insisted.

"No one can help us Sam." Her given up hope made her voice shaky.

"Why can't you trust me? I told you I will try my best to make you happy. If what makes you happy is money, I will try my best to make money but please, for one God sake, believe in me." He reached for her hands.
