Chapter 8: World Quest

One month had passed since the expulsion. David's group hunted many basic monsters on the way to deep woods. After meeting David and his brother, Bolt didn't use his skill even at precarious situations. David also didn't use his skills D rank didn't need of any skills to kill F rank beasts. During the 3 weeks they didn't saw any beasts higher than F rank. Even though rank didn't increase, number of them increased.

All of them were released. A rhinoceros shaped giant looked around and it was not it's place, but hunger took over the confusion. There were only tiny ants, it had no choice but eat them.

Although the ants looked tiny, they built a wall as big as it around their nest. It did not care about it and charged towards the wall, but it was blocked by an invisible wall. Annoyed by the barrier, it used a skill related to thrust. But the barrier did not break.

"For now, use B-rank cores to maintain the barrier and 10 A-rank squads to hunt them. And tell the fuckers not to play with the barrier."

Amy frowned after hearing that from communication watch. Then continued her killing of stray E-rank monsters. She had to fill her family's quota also.

Both Lina and Marlo were lawyers and Nila was teacher, so all of them had strong moral conduct. They were against her going to kill monsters, but they relented when heard the details; they even wanted to help her. But she refused them.

In the wilderness, not all forest dwellers attacking the ants, they killed each other also. A lion was eating a boar, it was disturbed by an ant. It was angry and chased the ant and found two more ants waiting for it.

Silver was running like a madman, because of a plan. It all started a few hours ago. 

After the countdown, they faced unending hoard of monsters, yet they survived because the monsters were mostly E and F rank.

As the monster incoming decreased, they started to move around the area. "Both of you wait here. I feel a strong presence, so I will scout ahead." While waiting for David they hunted the monsters nearby.

Sitting on a tree branch stealthily, David watched a wounded lion fighting five wolf monsters. Even though the lion was wounded, it had upper hand. All of them were at D rank. Atleast that was what he perceived from watching. It was lion's victory. It started eating without considering surrounding. He didn't dare to sneak attack it because he was a weak D ranker. He carefully retreated.
