Wanderer (MultiXovers)

I don't know what to write here. Worm is a typical superheroes world but more dark. Instead of heroes gaining advantage, villains have the upper hand here. They also had monsters that are destroying their world every three months and to kill them, every heroes and villains had to teamed up to kill them. Also a great conspiracy and a god like being that like to eat world exist in that world too. Percy Jackson and the Olympian is a world where Greek and Roman gods exist. It told the story of a demigod, the son of Poseidon.

Chapter 3

The breakfast was bland. Even though what she ate can be considered good food, it still tastes nothing.

'So, dad cook for breakfast today,' she thought. Only foods cooked by dad taste bland. When mom cook, she can taste something. It's not an ingredient and she wasn't sure what it is but that enhanced the food and make it taste like the food it was.

Today breakfast is silent too. This house was always been silent when she thought about it. After breakfast, Annette and Danny went to work and she was once again, alone. But she didn't feel so bad about it. As far as she remembered, she was always alone. She opened the doorknob and as expected, it was locked. If it was before, that would deter her but she has invincibility now.

She went toward the second-floor window and jumped from it. After falling inside the front of the house in a cat-like sneaked toward the bustling places of the city. Along the way, she found the streets covered in gang tags. She even found a man being mugged in a dingy alleyway. The city felt like it was decaying. In her mind, she could even smell the metaphorical rust.

Even as she walked down the street of a dying city, she had a sense of wonder. Everything is like new things to her. After all, the amount of time she was allowed to go out can be counted in fingers. Her father hates her and her mother, well, she didn't even register Taylor. As if she was trying so hard to forget that she has a daughter.

"Hey look at that, a little kid," a creepy man said toward his companions. Others also focused on her.

"Yes, a kid like her would fetch a high price. Let's grab her," another one said. They agreed unanimously and walked toward her. One of them is readying his bat.

When they reached near her, the man held up the bat and swung at her. He was confident that this would knock her out. Unfortunately, they would be disappointed as the bat only bounced from her head.

"Shit! She is a cape. Run!" They realized that they were in deep crap and tried to make a run for it but who was Taylor waiting for an opportunity robbed the bat from the man and swung it with strength. Even though she only has the strength of a four years old child, she could be reckless and attack without worrying that it would cause her a backlash. So, her brain disabled its usual safety features which allow her to use her strength at full potential. So, she swings can pack quite a punch equalling to the strength of a grown man.

After finishing the first guy, she quickly disabled others too. She dragged all of them back to the alleyway and quickly mauled their head this finishing them. As four years old, she did feel bad about hurting them but she felt that she would be at risk if she let them go so she killed them. Perhaps, it was because of her young age or it was because this wasn't her first kill, she didn't feel too bad about it. As they say, children can be little angels or pure evil.

She looked down at her blood-stained clothes in distress and decided to just go back home. There she found another problem, she didn't know how to get back in. After brainstorming for a bit, she decided to climb into her room by a tree which branches are touching window of her parents' room. She likes this tree though she heard that her father was planning to chop down this tree a few days ago. She felt saddened by this. When she was alone before, she would look at this tree from her living room. As she was fantasized by little birds making this tree home and other creatures that usually rest on there. It was like a silent company for her. Now, she would be saying goodbye soon.

She climbed up the tree and crawled toward the window. Thankfully, her body was small and these branches can hold her weight. She climbed inside the room and heaved a sigh.

'Mission accomplished,' she thought to herself.

She then went back to her room and progressed to sleep. After passing through the Nameless Void, she once again found herself in Earth Mythical. She stretched her legs a bit. Last time she left, she paused the time. She began to walk toward where her foot would take her. Even though this world can be dangerous, it wasn't that dangerous to the normal human. She walked upon the highways aimlessly.

It's been months since then. The days passed normally. She would walk tirelessly in her dream world and she would spend the day quietly in the waking world. Now though, she can create a useful power for herself. So, she gave herself a power called Map. It was a mental map that worked like a GPS. She can input where she would go mentally and she would be granted routes and terrains. It may seem useless but it was a very useful power for someone like her who was lost in the middle of nowhere. Well, she was in Alaska. No wonder, the temperature was cold. She thought about where to go and rolled a metaphorical dice in her head which landed on LA. She asked for direction from her map and was given routes toward the LA.

As she walked, it took months as she walked slowly. In the meantime, she encountered a lot of things. Like a deranged club of rich people who like to hunt down those poor travellers who were unfortunate enough to fall into their traps. Of course, their roles reversed since the time they set their sight on Taylor Hebert. They thought it would be easy to beat a child. Unfortunately, they were wrong. All of them were killed off left there, in the middle of nowhere to rot.

Anyway, here she arrived after many months. City of Angels, Los Angeles. She hoped to find interesting things here. Before her gaze, stood a glamourous city which was bustling with life as the opposite of her hometown, Brockton Bay. One way decaying rotting away from inside while one was brimming with life like a sapling. Now, if only she had some money, it would be perfect. But she would have to make do without. Anyway, she had the power she can do something. At least, she believed to be so.
