Dusk Organization strikes!

Austin was excited!

At long last he was now awakened!

The whole process had been surreal. Finally, he had the power and the opportunity to become strong like those he looked up to!

He wasn't the only one excited though.

Inside the hoverbus, his mates were also highly elated. They were chattering and whooping with joy. They were finally awakened!

"I can't wait to blow buildings to smithereens with my new power," boasted one kid with dyed white hair which had been shaped into a ridiculous looking mohawk.

"Shut up, Zane! I'll kick your ass before you can even do that," Austin said with a grin.

Peals of laughter filled the bus.

"Yeah right Austin. How is your boulder power going to compete with my gale power? I'll blast all your boulders away before you can even blink!" Zane countered hotly.

"As if," Austin snorted.

Near them, their two friends Mindy and Brianna shook their heads wryly. Austin and Zane were at it again!

They were always arguing and now that they had finally awakened it certainly was going to get worse. Nevertheless, no one took their fights too seriously. After all, they were best friends!

"What's the matter Mindy? You look a little glum," Brianna asked her friend.

Mindy sighed and shook her head making her pink pigtails sway.

"It's nothing Bri. I was just thinking about the kind of powers those five awakened," replied Mindy.

"Seriously Mindy? Why would you worry your head over that? They are them and you are you. You should stop comparing yourself to them," Brianna advised.

"You don't get it Bri. Forget about it," Mindy said, shaking her head.

Brianna sighed and shook her head.

Mindy tended to overthink too much. She always worried about things which weren't really things she should worry about. This wasn't the first time that something like this happened.

Bri wished she could find something to cheer her friend up.

She looked out the window and her eyes brightened. "Mindy take a look at this!" she said excitedly. Mindy groaned and craned her neck forward.

"What is it this time, Bri?" she said with exasperation.

"Look at those pink lights flashing about! Isn't it nice?" Brianna said excitedly.

Mindy looked at where Brianna was pointing. She couldn't see any pink lights though. Just when she was about to vent on Briana she spotted a flash of pink light just streak past the window.

What on earth is that? Mindy asked herself as she furrowed her brow in confusion.

Those flashes of pink light looked too much like lasers or something.

Wait a minute…

Lasers?

But why would pink lasers be flashing around the convoy of school hoverbuses?

That was unless…

Mindy's eyes widened. "Bri close that window! Close it now!" Mindy yelled in fear.

"Why on earth are you screaming so much? You're freaking me out Mindy!" Brianna complained. Mindy ignored her and reached over to close the window.

Brianna tried to stop her until she saw Mindy freeze up, her mouth wide open in horror. She turned to look out the window and saw it.

The hoverbus in front of them looked like a sieve as pink laser lights penetrated its thick protective shell as if it was paper!

The newly awakened students were under attack!

Austin and Zane noticed their friends acting weirdly and got up to find out why.

That was when their hoverbus shuddered and began to shake, throwing everything into disarray! Students who didn't have their seatbelts on were thrown out of their seats and landed straight on the floor!

"What on earth is going on?!" Zane yelled as he tried to keep his footing amidst the shuddering of the hoverbus.

"We are under attack!" Mindy yelled.

All the students in the hoverbus started to panic. They had just been attacked! Despite the shaking of the hoverbus, students swarmed to the windows to look outside.

It was pure chaos.

One of the hoverbuses which had been in front was now a smoldering wreckage lying on the side of the road!

The other hoverbuses in front were diving and taking extreme evasive maneuvers as they desperately tried to evade the torrent of pink lasers that were riddling them with holes like a sieve!

"Everyone fasten your seatbelt and hold on tight!" One of the teachers ordered.

The hoverbus was so chaotic that no one paid him any mind. The five teachers exchanged quick glances.

"You two, stay with the kids and calm them down. You two come with me," Mr. Gavin ordered. The teachers nodded. Mr. Gavin opened the sunlight hatch of the hoverbus and got out with two of the teachers.

The situation was even worse outside.

Teachers were floating in the air or standing on the hoverbuses as they fought fiercely with masked assailants wearing grey and black nanosuits.

"Dusk agents," Mr. Gavin growled in anger.

But why? The Dusk organization had never attacked a moving convoy of students before! Why the sudden change?

It made no sense!

Even though the teachers were holding out quite well, they were quickly losing ground. Those pink laser lights were causing a horrendous amount of damage!

Mr. Gavin looked up worriedly to find the source of those pink lasers.

Up above, a Dusk agent floated in the skies leisurely. The pink lights were streaking from him while he watched the carnage below.

"That's a fricking domain mage!" one of the teachers behind Mr. Gavin cursed.

The teachers here were all at the Grand realm. None of them had enough power to challenge even an early stage Domain realm awakened!

What could they do?

They were quickly thrown out of their shock when three Dusk agents suddenly landed on top of the hoverbus and attacked them!

"Kill these scum!" Mr. Gavin roared in fury as he charged forward to meet them head on!

His body glowed with a green sheen and his muscles rapidly swelled up like a balloon!

His normal shirt and jeans morphed into a green combat suit as he leaped high in the air, his arms raised above his head!

A green warhammer formed in his hands and he brought it down on the nearest Dusk agent!

The Dusk agent was no longer there!

"Huh?" Mr. Gavin looked up in surprise.

How had the agent evaded his warhammer?

Surprisingly, the warhammer didn't damage the top of the hoverbus!

Instead, the green warhammer switched its solid form and became liquid, softening the impact of the attack before resuming its previous solid state.

Mr. Gavin had no time to recover though.

The Dusk agent had jumped back smoothly and now pointed his index and middle finger at Mr. Gavin.

A compressed beam of cyan fire emanated from it and shot at Mr. Gavin!

With a grunt he ducked to the side, pulling his warhammer which had now become solid with him.

On his sides, the two teachers had engaged the other Dusk agents.

A cursory glance allowed him to see that they were alright.

Mr. Gavin's focus was not on them though. He heaved his warhammer up and swung it at the Dusk agent who dodged it again.

Mr. Gavin didn't mind though as his swings became faster and his opponent was forced to continuously evade.

"Stay still you imbecile!" Mr. Gavin roared as he missed yet again.

His opponent was as slippery as an eel!

The Dusk agent jumped back yet again as the green warhammer missed him by inches!

He did a backflip and small platforms of cyan fire formed in front of him. Not pausing at all, he dashed up above Mr. Gavin with those footholds.

Mr. Gavin's warhammer increased in size and width and Mr. Gavin swept it in an arc above him, hoping to hit the Dusk agent.

Surprisingly, the Dusk agent used the blunt side of the warhammer as a final foothold to perform a dive! He rolled when he hit the deck and turned to face Mr. Gavin.

He then beckoned Mr. Gavin to attack.

Mr. Gavin furrowed his brows. His opponent was too agile! Mr. Gavin suspected that if the agent took it serious, he would be at a disadvantage even though they were both were in the Grand realm!

This was strange.

Now that he thought about it, it was as if the agent was buying time! What did he want to achieve though?

Then it hit Mr. Gavin.

As if struck by lightning, his eyes opened wide while his heartbeat accelerated. Frantically, he swept his Spirit sense into the bus, especially the doors.

To his horror, two Dusk agents on hoverbikes were about to enter the hoverbus!

It was all a plot!

The stronger Dusk agents lured the teachers outside the hoverbus and engaged them while the weaker Dusk agents snuck into the hoverbuses and kidnapped the kids!

It was an extremely bold and daring plan!

From the looks of it, they had planned it for a very long time!

All the agents were moving with seriousness and swiftness as they fulfilled their roles in this well-planned scheme!

Furious, Mr. Gavin threw his warhammer!

It moved as if it had a mind of its own and struck both of the Dusk agents who were about to get onto the hoverbus and knocked them off their bikes!

The warhammer was recalled by Mr. Gavin and he set his sights on the hoverbus ahead.

He threw the warhammer again but the Dusk agent moved at that moment!

A gout of cyan fire knocked the green warhammer off its course and forced it to deviate!

Mr. Gavin growled at the Dusk agent in anger.

"Your opponent is me," said the Dusk agent with a mocking tone.
