Amran's point of view
While walking through the forest, a couple of miles away from the village, Amran was thinking of what was to come. She's been thinking hard about figuring out how to find her brother, though she doesn't know if he is in this world or not, and the probability of him being here is higher than that of him being somewhere else. "Anyway, the adventure will start now," she thought, "and sooner or later we will see each other, although I have to think of some way to find him since he can't look for me and he doesn't remember me, although I wonder why that man let me keep my memory, anyway there is nothing I will gain from thinking about that, I have to think about how to change the situation to my favor."
Looking around the dense forest, she was still in deep thought; her mind was working at high capacity, but she was still capable of noticing where her foot was landing, and everything surrounding her. Usually, when someone is in deep thought, it's impossible for him or her can't be paying full attention at the same time; although Amran didn't notice that at all, she kept thinking and analyzing everything she encountered so far.
Everyone around her was walking; beside her was Azmar, which is the name that has been given to her companion, since he is unable to remember his name unlike her, and in front of her was Ajbadan; who was one of the guards who met them first, and now was acting as their guide and escort. Behind them was Raco, the young boy who was mostly communicating with them, and also saw them for the first time. No one said anything while they were walking, all the information she has gathered so far is that they are headed to the capital at the request of the government, and the king himself has summoned them.
Although there is an advanced technology, like magic on this planet that allows you to travel anywhere for any distance within a few seconds, still the government insisted on us traveling the regular way, and since this village is in a middle of a forest, far from any city, we are in the current situation of walking, Azmar tried to ask questions, like why, but fortunately, I stopped him, simply because it was obvious to me, that they don't trust us, even though all the tests that they did, proved that we are telling the truth, and we are not hiding anything.
So it was kind of a some tests first, done to us, "I think this is just the beginning, and we will be subjected to more tests." That was what I was thinking, but I didn't say it aloud, and I didn't tell it to Azmar, who was walking beside me silently, I wish I could tell what he was thinking, but nothing was visible from his expression, and he kept walking beside me. The silence continued as we had been walking for almost an hour, when finally Ajbadan looked back at us, specifically looking at me, and said, "Are you tired?" "We can rest for a while if you like, but there are still a few hours left until we reach our destination."
When he said that looking at me, the reason was obvious because I am the youngest Herr, but the fact was I have never walked more than 15 minutes in my whole life, and even though I didn't feel like I walked for more than an hour, even though I haven't felt that I walked at all, I noticed everyone was looking at me, waiting for my response, so I shook my head and said, "No, I feel fine. I am not tired at all." "If I am, of course, I will let you know." So we kept walking, surrounded by a thick forest and silence.
"Don't hesitate to tell me if you do." After he said that, he continued looking forward and walked, whatever he was thinking, nothing showed on his face. "The best thing I found by coming to this planet is the AI chip implanted in me, it makes it easy for me to access any information about this world that I like, within all the knowledge that would fill hundreds of our common libraries on earth, and all of that can be transferred to my brain within a few second if I wanted that."
I already know the distance between where we are, and the city we are headed to, even from there to the capital, so there is no need, in my opinion to tell me or even us, since Azmar is also capable of getting that information, the same way I am. Whatever the reason behind this journey taking this route, it is something we will find out soon enough, so there is no reason for me to think about it. The only thing worth worrying about was the furious animals and beasts that inhabited this forest, like the one we encountered on our first day, when we woke up in this forest for the first time.
Little did I know that. There is someone else who has dedicated their life, to messing up our lives, and although I did know and see the people behind bringing us here, the only thing I didn't know was why. I did think about it, but I didn't reach any conclusions. At the same time, I thought about a lot of scenarios, and was just waiting for any clue, fortunately or unfortunately, I didn't wait for a long time.
