Hobgoblin champion

The wind brushed his skin and then he whipped the sword to remove the blood. Painting the ground with red. The surroundings were painted with blood and bodies littered with green-skinned goblins.

Roan then started to leave the place. But he stopped after realizing that he had poked the hornet's nest.

Roar!!!

The sound of horn and roar came from one direction, but what trembled Roan was it then was followed by more roaring from all directions. His back, side, and front.

"Damn, I haven't thought that hobgoblins would act fast!"

The Hobgoblins—The captains of the clan of goblins. Even the presence of a Hobgoblin champion that leads them was possibly on the move.

It was then after that, The Hobgoblins then appeared from the forest and arrived at the clearing. Showing their faces as their teeth were shown as they smiled.

They have taller heights and bulkier bodies. Even though that was the case, they still have the face of a goblin.

Then inside their formation, appeared slightly taller than the rest and had a necklace of bones. Having a wooden club was towering compared to Roan. Their skin was green and had tribal tattoos with them.

Roan then clicked his tongue and was troubled. He didn't know what job class he would use.

Also, they were growling and were excited to fight. the Hobgoblin champion tended to mute the others and Roan was surrounded. Though the Hobgoblin seemed to want to have a duel with him and stopped his underlings.

Roan clicked his tongue. He was not that strong yet as of now. And that was because his stats were not much. It would be better if he had stats on the fifties. Only luck would be his only comrade for now and bless him with that much.

He also has starting items only and was not yet used to his weak body. It would be a hassle.

Still, he won't back down. His enemy then dashed, hurling the dirt in his path.

"Equip Conjurer job class!" Roan then attacked.

The armor than was conjured and he immediately had a boost of a buff of 50% attack speed and movement speed.

He then made a double of himself and can be dispelled by only 10 hits. Though that 10 hits would be hard to achieve if the summoner was also agile.

As the capabilities of the apparition was the same as the summoner. Imagine having a complete copy of yourself. It would be a great prowess multiplier.

Roan then ran towards his enemy with his apparition. The sword was swung like a sword dance. He with his apparition dueled the Hobgoblin champion.

The enemy then swung vertically and smashed toward Roan.

Bang!

Dust was blown and Roan rotated as they both slashed on its back. Making the two smirk at the enemy.

Swoosh! Swish!

The enemy then gritted its teeth and roared at them while not even wincing at the pain. It seemed its tenacity was high enough to endure the pain.

They soon coordinated their attacks and made great reflexes as they evade the swing of the enemy.

A horizontal slash was made and the two ducked. Rolling on the ground then leaping toward the enemy. Slashing vertically and then the Hobgoblin champion grimaced in a smug. A streak of red light was emitted as he turned toward the two.

The apparition's attack was blocked and was hit in the chest. Nine hits were left. Roan then slashed its arms as he was not hit luckily by the wooden club as he attacked in a different direction.

He then stepped back a bit and then gripped his sword tighter as he gripped it slanted while being leveled on his face. The enemy then ran towards him while saliva drooling.

The apparition then sprung up and went towards them. Roan then was swung with the weapon and he sidestepped in the last moments. Scraping his face a bit.

'Tsk! That was close!'

He rotated away from the swing and then attacked together with the apparition. They slashed against the enemy and they coordinated their attacks. Roan attacked the front and the apparition on the back.

Ting! Ting! Clunk!

The Hobgoblin champion then blocked their attacks with his wooden club. They did not even land an attack at all. Roan then was attacked more aggressively and can only block its attacks.

"Ngk! His swings are heavy!"

He gripped his sword and can only grit his teeth. The apparition then attacked its back and then the Hobgoblin champion blocked his stab. Making the sword stuck in the club. The club then swung towards him and he let go of the sword. Conjuring another one as he lost his weapon.

Shing!

The enemy then grabbed the sword and then threw it away from them. Making the apparition grit his teeth. Roan then heard the enemy chuckle with a low growl. A good intimidating factor for the enemy.

The two attacked both sides and coordinated their attacks.

Roan slashed in the front and the enemy blocked with his club.

Ting!

The apparition then attacked the back with a rotating slash while mid-air and it was blocked by his club. The enemy then smashed Roan and Roan was flung a bit for several steps. His feet were rubbed on the ground as he was regaining his balance and footing. He then collided with the tree trunk with a thud.

The enemy then focused its attention on the apparition. Smashing in his direction made a booming sound as the weapon of destruction hits the ground. It was then, the apparition rolled to the side to evade the attack. Making his spring up and dashed towards him.

The apparition then saw that Roan was shaking and his muscles were trembling. He even had difficulty standing up. He then knelt on the ground as he gasped air.

It was then, the apparition decided to give him ample time to regain strength. Buying him time was very important for the current survival of his summoner.

He then attacked furiously and not even thinking of his safety. The swings of the enemy were only in hair's breadth in distance. And he was also attacking but his attacks were blocked.

It was then, the apparition tripped on one corpse and he was hit in the face with the club.

Bang!

Eight hits to go and he would get dispelled. He was flung to the ground and rolled several times. He tried to get up but the world was spinning. The club was heavy and he might die immediately if he was not a summon. Roan would break his neck if it was him.

Luckily, he was a summon and he can only be dispelled by hits and not damage.

Roan then subbed him and gave another time for the apparition. Two of them were better if he would think of it. It was then, the apparition stood up and he inhaled air.

Roan then attacked once again and he together with the apparition dashed in a flicker.

They both attacked the Hobgoblin in both directions. When Roan attacked, the apparition assisted him and dealt a slash on the back. The enemy retaliated and swings toward his direction but he was attacked by Roan on the legs. Making it lose balance and strength in its legs. He immediately knelt on the ground. A small mishap from the enemy would cost his life. Such a blunder was made and he might lose his life.

Roan and the apparition then slashed and hacked nonstop. Making the two of them dance like swordplay and made brutal wounds on the enemy.

All muscles were cut and it hindered the enemy to move at all. Still, the enemy didn't show weakness and was brave upon facing the two.

Roan then watched the enemy in the eyes. He saw his face reflecting on the eyes of the enemy then stabbed him in the chest.

It was then, the apparition's time duration has come and he vanished like a cloud of smoke. The hobgoblins then roared upon the death of their champion and Roan was surrounded.

He then battled them all with all his might.

"Equip Necromancer job class!"

He then summoned his underlings and then they fought. The formation was in a circle formation and he was attacked in all directions. Making him fight with all he got.

The enemies were cleaved and they went down immediately as they were slashed in half.
