East Cemetery

Roan walked towards Isaias and he was in great worry. The darkness was spreading faster and they need to act fast.

"Roan! We are in great danger. My divination has foretold that the dagger of immortality is heading to evil's hands. Though the purpose of it is still unknown. Still! We must not laze around! Try to find the purpose of their mission later on. But now, we must seek guardians. We deeply need their wisdom while we face such threats. Our extinction will be at hand if we do not stop them!" Isaias' voice was trembling. His face was in distress and he felt uneasy about his actions.

"I will try to find out what will be their purpose. And I can also seek the guardians," Roan's tone has confidence backing it. He thought that more problems arise with one solved.

"My divination also tells of a Map East from here. It has a map of all the tombs of the guardians. We should ask for their guidance. From the Eastern cemetery, head there, and inside was an inner sanctum. Just beware of the rotten. Well, you can deal with them,"

"Also, there is a possibility that it was guarded by something. A slumbering dead as well as alive, I can feel its presence. Well defeat him and take the scroll within his chambers. May blessings and good luck abide with you." Isaias then entered his tent for more divination. May he find clues on what to do next.

Roan then headed east, the east cemetery itself. According to Isaias, the scroll was guarded by a slumbering dead. He has to defeat him to take the scroll and that would be troublesome. He didn't know the capacity of the enemy nor know its level.

He was just level 2 currently and it would be hard if the enemy was a level higher than him.

After a few miles of walking, alas arrived. He saw ironed grills as walls with signage of "East Cemetery".

Roan then heard crows flying away as he entered the gates. Vines crept on the tombstones as well as the walls. Several tombs were built by wealthier citizens and they have the luxury to make their dead have small cemented buildings as their physical bodies made for their eternal rest.

Roan then heard cracking sounds and the graves burst out with what was inside. Rotten then emerged from their coffins and attacked!

Roan immediately drew his swords and confronted them. These creatures were slow but can inflict corruption untowards your flesh. Making it only cleansed with holy water. And his holy water has only several uses left. Being infected by it would be troublesome.

Battle soon spewed forth and Roan used his Necromancer job class. They attacked with their hands and Roan evaded.

Roan slashed them off and their hands flew. With the coordination of both hands. His attacks were perfectly executed and with great severing prowess.

The enemies rose nonstop. All the graves were emptied as he started fighting. Imagine a whole cemetery as an enemy! It would be a lot!

Roan then was attacked with a bite on his back and he blocked the teeth with his sword. Slashing it up then the head was severed. Others clawed him with a horizontal scratch and he retaliated with a vertical slash with his one hand. Making it cut and then he made a slash on the neck to cut off the head.

Roar!

Shriek!

They bellowed as they ran towards him. He was surrounded in all directions. The enemies paraded like a flood toward him.

"I got to do something," With a calm look and a trickling sweat on my face. Roan smirked.

[Summon skeleton militia]

[Summon skeleton warior]

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The enemies collided with the shields of the skeleton militia and they protected Roan. The skeleton warrior leaped and began hacking enemies. Slashing the enemies with its sword.

Roan then used [Reaping slash] and [Ground bone spike]. Severing and cleaving enemies in half while also skewering them.

Roan then slashed the enemies with his swords while the skeletons were colliding with their shields. Making him in a bind a bit.

Roan immediately used [Summon graveyard] and [Ghost march]. Skeletons then emerged from the ground and then attacked the Rotten. The Ghost march skill hacked the Rotten as they passed them by. Each of them attacked the Rotten and then disappeared.

With the enemies killed, there was a small space that was created. Roan immediately dashed forward to kill some more. Slashing one then he rotated and did a dual slash on one enemy. Hacking two with a combo of dual slash then he sidestepped as one leaped towards him at his back.

Reverse gripping the short sword then slashed the one on his back as he looked back. The others went to attack him as they headed in his direction. Others were wobbly on their feet.

Roan dashed and while his sword was reversed-gripped, he slashed the foot of one enemy as he passed it then stabbed its head as it was down.

Roan turned around and others attacked with their hands. Roan ducked the blow and then made a rising slash. Aiming to decapitate the enemy. The enemy stumbled without a head then the head dropped to the ground after a second.

Others still attacked without fear in their eyes. It was the quality of the Rotten as they can't feel fear. Just unsatiated hunger and desire to kill all living. Roan knew it as it was in the monster bibliography and weakness guide.

As he watched them, the enemies were only numbered a few left. Roan ran and finished what he had started.

Dashing in zig zag, he sheathed his sword and then threw his throwing daggers at them while doing so. All were used and his daggers penetrated their skull.

Roan went standing as he panted, his skeletons did the job to eradicate the remaining enemies.

As he finished the battle, he stumbled upon a crypt that was emanating an aura. He felt a strange entity inside the crypt. It was by far the largest and it was in the center of the cemetery.

Its entrance was open, it felt welcoming for Roan. Without further ado, Roan knew that it was indeed the place he was looking for.

"What a welcoming aura, let's see what we can find here."
