VITALITY [BL]

Yuliang Davos is an omega with a lot on his plate; completing his internship, working part-time, studying for his Healer Certification exam, keeping his twin in check, and suppressing his transformations. He has no time for friends, fun, adventure, or romance. Unfortunately for him, he doesn't have a choice. _____________________________________________________ [Warnings]: This story covers some heavy topics and includes characters and actions of dubious morality. The chapters are short because my attention span is limited, and I can't write 1k words in one sitting. I don't think it's a big issue, though, since the story will be a really long one either way, just in bite sizes. Unbeta'ed T_T because I have no friends, but the errors should be minimal. _____________________________________________________ It may take a while for the main romance to unravel, but I promise that it will be worth the wait in the end.

Nightclub III

Yuliang leaned over the balcony to watch the proceedings on the dance floor with hooded amber eyes peering over the mask secured to his face once more.

Eric, Clare, Mila, and Ahmed were on the dancefloor swaying and grinding to the bassy music blasting from the speakers.

While Eric had been pushy about the drinks, the older omega had been considerate enough not to drag Yuliang off to dance in the middle of a crowd. No amount of drinks would ever convince Yuliang that was a good idea.

His scalp was irritated by the tight pull of his ponytail. Yuliang's hands twitched multiple times from the temptation to reach up and undo the torturous hairstyle. Still, knowing that Eric had spent time putting it up in place, he could not bring himself to do it.

He sighed, taking another long drink from the glass he held in his hand. He had lost track of how many drinks he had consumed, but the alcohol in his system had done wonders getting his nerves under control.

The current music was to his taste, and Yuliang couldn't help humming and swaying along to it a bit.

His phone buzzed.

It was a text from his brother inviting him out to dinner.

"Hey gorgeous, you want to tell me your name?"

Yuliang let his brother know that he was out and told Yukio to go out without him.

A shocked face Emote was promptly sent back in reply.

He supposed it was a bit rare that Yuliang made plans without his brother's knowledge or interference.

Yuliang huffed at the long line of gibberish that followed it and was about to put his phone away when someone roughly grabbed his hand.

"I'm talking to you, bitch. How dare you ignore me! Do you even know who I am?"

Yuliang looked to find a vaguely familiar face in front of him, but he couldn't place a name on it.

The man was of average height, slightly shorter than Yuliang, with short mussed-up blond hair and sharp grey eyes. He looked a bit like Belmont actually.

Yuliang wrinkled his nose at the strong smell that permeated from the man. He's obviously had way too much to drink.

Yuliang wasn't really in the mood to talk, so he pushed the arm off his shoulder and turned back to watching the dance floor where Eric was now grinding against and making out with a stranger.

Yuliang frowned, wasn't Eric engaged?

The second time, his shoulder was grabbed in a harsh grip. Yuliang immediately retaliated by snapping their wrist with a sickening crack.

He didn't even bother removing his eyes from the dance floor this time until he became mildly annoyed at the screaming coming from beside him.

Yuliang spared the man writhing on the floor a disdainful glare.

"Could you please shut the fuck up? Your screaming is giving me a headache."
