Chapter 7

Chapter 7 continues with the news of Luna's pregnancy being known only to Andy, the alpha. However, a spy is discovered, leading to increased protection in the castle. Everyone is going through the events and discussing how the news spread, as their jobs are at risk. To ensure honesty, an oath is taken where lying means death and telling the truth means survival. Violet, feeling shaky, considers escaping but realizes her pups would be in danger. She also worries about her own life since her mate, Cameron, cannot always be with her due to his paperwork. Violet doesn't trust anyone, including Andy, as she fears for her babies and her own safety. As Violet contemplates her next move, Cameron notices her distress and asks if she is okay. She expresses her fear and desire for their safety. However, just as Cameron assures her, a loud crash is heard from outside the castle, causing screams and panic. The chapter ends with someone calling for help, and Cameron looking concerned.
