The body fell and I Smiled at her.
"But again, there are good bounties here".
Her smirk grew almost as if she knew I'd be here.
The tavern went wild and everyone started screaming.
" IT'S APRILIA!! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES"
"I guess you're a big shot around this parts"
"What can I say it runs in the blood"
She narrowed her eyes and brought out a gun I panicked thinking she wanted to shoot me but she averted her aim and I heard a familiar voice yelling behind me.
"You scumbag!! You wanted to hit me with that didn't you"
A frypan laid beside him his eyes turning into stars.
"You were probably going to kill me so I had to do something"
"Huh"
"I thought you would have died by now"
"I'm a lot stronger than that you know!"
He smirked and showed us his right hand which glowed red.
"A healer" She spat.
"A healer can't do that"
"You really know nothing"
"Healers are people that can heal heck, it's in the word."
Wait I may have told a little fib.
The killer board isn't prestigious at all we are all crooks who killed a person and bam we are on the board.
It is called the Crook board in other parts.
The Assassin League, however, is where all the big killers are.
I had no memory of ever leaving that town after training in Kagoshima. Except from that one time the citizens wanted to hang me and banned me from the town for stealing food.
So I didn't know much about the world and so far the only healer I've met only used Herbs to heal his hands never glowed red.

"Where is the shard?!" Aprilia asked
"I lost it, It didn't give me any more powers so I didn't really care about it anymore"

"Jeez, so what I can always steal more."
Aprilia sighed and turned her back on us.
"Well I'm leaving"
"Don't you want to know where I got it from?"
"No"
"Wait for me"
"Are you following her?"
He ran to a door ignoring my question and came out with a bag a few moments later.
"I'm ready"
"Don't you have a job?"
"Nah I quit, Only applied for the prize"
The bag was big and bulky Almost as if there was some value in what was in it.
"I finally have enough money to go to Ailon Academy"
I choked on air apparently
