The Bird, and The letter

Acantha woke up to see the who was looking at her with so much worries on his face, she stiffened a little bit when he hugged her.

"I'm glad that you're awake now, Aki." He said to her as he kissed her on top of her head.

She looked around and saw that she was already in her room in the duchy which is odd as the last time she knew was she was at the party.

Acantha's eyes widen when she realized about the party, flashes of explosion, and man wearing a mask who bind her and make her float to the air while feeling electrified by the bind he put her.

She even saw how Helion defeated the man who was confident on killing them.

"What h-happened?" She said in a hoarse voice as she feel dry on her throat.

The duke just looked at her as he give her a glass of water, which she accepted as she was really feeling dry on her throat.
