Academy

The plane of Agroton, the place where all the species lived. Agroton had another name as well, it was named by the outer plane, and that name was Origin.

Agroton created life from the droplet of God's tree and made the place of that life.

Numerous races were born from the tree. Elf, orge human and many others.

Currently, on top of the food chain were demonic beings which came out from the inner plane. The war between Demons and Rces of Agroton spaned for millions of years.

But the first hero managed to stop the war by separating the inner plane and Agroton.

The hero created the Empire of Sulen and waited for the fateful day of the unknown.

The empire of Sulen existed for the sole purpose of creating a hero. That was the reason, the empire spent so many resources on the Academy.

Reid arrived at the Academy after turning the raggy peaks. The Academy was surrounded by high peaks and covered with vast forest.

The only way to arrive at the Academy was threw the route created by the hero.

The carriage stopped and Reid heard a knock from the window.

" Young master, Academy prohibited the use of carriage. From now on, you need to walk through the passage like any other. "

Reid opened his eyes and grabbed his face. His dark eyes were now coloured by a faint red.

He opened the door and stepped on the ground. He then glanced across the area.

Numerous youths stood tall in front of the Academy. Their eyes were shining with a great future. Some wore fancy while others wore torn clothes.

The academy accepted all kinds of beings as long as they were alive and at the age of 15 or 17.

Reid noted that the field was covered with at least thousands of people from all places.

His eyes then landed on the blue-haired youth. He was the same age as him and the rival of his family.

Reid ignored him and focused on his own.

The Bulter came beside him and gave him a ring.

" Young master, I wish you good luck. "

" Thank. " Reid smiled and wore the ring. He then checked his sword which was inside the ring.

The Bulter disappeared from his view.

" Hi. "

" Stop it, Ray. Don't you see his carriage? He is from the family of the duke. "

Reid turned around to see the source of the noise. A man was pulled away by his friend.

At a glance, Reid could tell that they were commoners.

He then looked around him. A lot of people were showing distance toward the two. Even if they tried to act clueless, their action was visible.

" You are embarrassing us, Kye. " The woman pitched Kye's arm.

" Ouch," Kye yelled.

" Come on, Sera. It is not hurt to be friends with others. "

Sera was dumbfounded. She just realized how dumb Kye can be.

At that moment, laughter emerged from the crowd.

Reid frowned as he could identify who was laughing.

The family of Aqua, the heir to the duke title like Reid, Lucas. Lucas clapped his hands in harmony and walked out from the crowd.

People would stay away from him for fear of being offended to him. Reid snorted in his heart seeing Lucas's smirk.

" Friend. You say. I am not sure how your insect brain managed to think that you and our Nobel are equal. "

Lucas cast a smile and lifted his blue hair behind his ears.

Kye clenched his fist and threw a quick punch. His sudden attack made Reid caught off guard. Normally, the commoner just bowled down and licked the noble feet.

Lucas looked at the coming fist and shook his head. He raised his hand and easily grabbed the fist. He then gave a good smack at Kye's stomach.

Lucas was Rank Two similar to Reid. Not many people at their age managed to climb the level of them. On top of that, they were both respectively high noble and had a lot of resource growth.

Even if Kye was a monster, he wouldn't achieved their Rank without resources.

Kye was sent back to Sera. Sera tries to lift Kye but he is too heavy for her. Lucas's face became twisted and slowly walked over to the two commoners.

Mana slowly gathered around his hands and his body releasing the pressure of Rank Two. Nearby laughing Nobles all stood back in fear.

Only a handful can withstand the pressure and remain quiet.

" You dare to raise your fang against me. " Lucas cursed and kicked Sera away from Kye.

He then raised his hand which was covered with mana and punched at Kye's face. Flesh split as Lucas's punch made Kye's brain spin.

Punch. Punch.

Reid forgot to count how many times Lucas punched. After a while, Lucas stopped and gazed at Kye.

His face was now covered in blood unable to run away from Lucas's fun.

Sera was pledging the crowd to save but none moved. Even Reid stayed silent as It was not worth his energy.

Nevertheless, he was about to stop Lucas. This situation was not a good reputation for the Empire. They were now in the middle of other countries and the Empire as well.

' I could make my reputation raise this way. ' Reid thought about it.

He was about to open his mouth, suddenly a pressure descended from the sky.

His hair stood up as he sensed danger for his life. He immediately took out his sword from the ring and searched for the source.

All the people around him fell to the ground from the pressure. Reid noticed a man floating in the air.

He wore a tight suit with faint gold warping around his belt. There was a symbol of the sun attached to his heart as well. The man's face was calm and he carried himself with ease.

The man then noticed a youth standing tall amid his presence. He squinted his eyes and scanned the youth's Rank.

' Rank two. Not that surprising but he can withstand my aura. Seem like his father must have thrown him into a dungeon or something. '

The man thought about and discarded that within a second.

" I will decrease my pressure. If you managed to stay awake, come to the Academy. The door will automatically be opened. " The man spoke in a high Noble tone. He didn't even bait Kye's situation.

Reid took back his sword and focused his mana on fighting against the man. After an hour, the man left the sky and flew in the direction of the Academy.

Reid fell to the ground and gathered himself. His head was spinning crazy. He quickly collected himself and walked toward the gate.

He then turned around to see how many passed. A few of them were from his Empire. Lucas was padding the dust off his shirt.

Look like he forgot about the two commoners.

Seeing Lucas, Reid's eyes subconsciously turned toward the two. Sera was shaking Kye lightly. She was trying to wake Kye up.

Reid sighed and walked toward the two. He passed Lucas.

" I hope your family is in good health. " Lucas greeted with his usual ugly smile.

Reid decided to stay silent.

Lucas looked back and saw Reid's back. He shook his head in disappointment.

" You are a disgrace of our royal blood. "

Reid crouched down and took out a glass bottle. Inside was a red liquid, he got from his family.

Healing potion.

Reid brought the potion near Kye's mouth and poured it. There were no signs of change in Kye's wounds.

" He is going to be fine. "

Mummer entered his ears. Reid looked at Sera and said, " He is dead. "

His voice didn't enter Sera's head as a number went on.

Reid frowned.

' Is she going to give up? The door to the Academy was ahead. She is talented enough to stay conscious, unlike these guys. '

Reid looked around at the people fainting on the ground.

' I can turn her into my follower. I just need to promise her to help her kill Lucas. '

Reid smiled inside.

He called, " Hey. "

No answer.

" Hey. " He repeated.

Sera stayed in a daze.

Reid grabbed her shoulder and shook her body.

Her eyes came into reality as Reid saw sadness take over her.

He was about to speak.

A strange vision floated through his brain.
