CHAPTER 9

Lorian and Elix have finally reached the airport, they haven't even talked a single word yet since when they woke up because of what happened last night that Elix left her alone wearing her dress after he felt horny looking at her, now it's awkward tho he still managed to talk...

"Wait, you don't really have to accompany me Lorian..." he said while his hand was on her wrist already which made them stop walking further inside the airport "...I mean I'm sorry about last night I didn't mean to leave you" he obviously felt sorry because he still did wrong leaving her.

Lorian smiled and held his hand saying "You don't have to be sorry, I should feel embarrassed actually because you might be thinking that I'm seducing you but actually I'm not but still I'm sorry for showing you myself in that dress...hehe..."

He realized what she said which made him chuckle "...you're so cute, anyways it seems that we're both just overthinking hahaha" he said with a happy face which made her feel relaxed and next hugged him as a farewell hug saying "... you're a great guy and I really appreciate you Elix"

"Well I enjoyed being around you too and that I'm so happy that I have a girlfriend already!" he said happily and looked around to check if his girl is already around but he didn't find her "...um I think she's quite late but anyways she'll be here soon"

Lorian was about to comment when a message from Margarita suddenly popped up...

MARGARITA: I have sent you a dress at your company address, don't be late, see you soon!

After reading the message Lorian looked at Elix and said "Elix I have to go now, Margarita sent a dress at my company's address, she didn't know that I lost the company already..." yes Margarita didn't know yet that it's not her company anymore and most of all not everyone knows she owns a company anyway.

"That's troublesome, anyways please take care and we will chat ok?" Elix said which Lorian just nodded with and left already.

Walking fast going out of the airport she tried to multitask and started checking the time on her phone when suddenly a girl with very strong perfume made her almost vomit bumped into her saying "Hey look at what you're walking at you retard!" the girl said which happens to be...

"Jhona? speaking of retard-oh no I don't have time for you..." Lorian said and ran away already not because she's afraid of these btch but because she's running out of time already and she might not be able to pick up the dress anymore.

"Huh ran Lorian you scared btch!"

PatPat, her cat meowed once she opened her apartment's door already greeting her, well she ended up not picking the dress anymore and just rushed up into her closet finding a good dress to wear at the event.

"This must be fine enough what do you think PatPat?" she asked PatPat who's watching her on the mirror where she's also looking at, well PatPat came close to her feet and rubbed himself to them saying he's approving the dress which lessen her worries about her looks.

When suddenly a notification from the Cuddle app came in which is a message from Massimo saying...

MASSIMO: My wife is going to a company anniversary tonight wearing the dress that you recommended me Laura and I'm so excited to see her.

ERMALBE 30TH ANNIVERSARY

The event has started already and Lorian was a bit late but she still managed to be there before her friend Margarita spotlight for tonight being promoted as the COO of the ERMALBE company happens.

People she walked past gave her a look like judging her with the dress she's wearing which is a casual off shoulder maroon dress which only reaches above her knee partnered with her stiletto which is a very different dress code for the dress code for this event wherein everyone's wearing a gown and tuxedo screaming corporate and luxury...

Lorian started looking for Margarita to greet her when suddenly the host finally started introducing Margarita as the new COO of ERMALBE company who is the one later on welcomed everyone for the event tonight.

"It's a great honor to welcome you everyone here to celebrate the 30th anniversary of ERMALBE company and as the new COO, I am officially raising this glass of champagne to start the party so cheers for another year of success!" she said and drunk her champaign while Lorian couldn't stop but be amazed by her achievements, in her mind Margarita is really an intelligent woman since when she met her.

Looking at Margarita on the stage, Lorian vision went down on her dress that is later on made her remember something "...velvet violet famara high slitted JF collection gown?" she can perfectly see how authentic the gown is while even being far from her and the fact that there is only 1 launched famara gown in that style in this country. But she can't remember what it has to do with her memory right now not until...

"... Margarita is Massimo's wife?"

She almost screamed but good enough she didn't especially when Fiona suddenly came from nowhere confidently saying "ohhh the scammer is here...tell me who did you scammed this time to afford coming in this event?" with her smirking face which is really insulting to view with.

She just looked at Fiona and smirked back saying "hmm speaking of scammers where's Jhona?oops I saw her at the airport...maybe she's running away now~" with her unbothered tone and look at the same time because she's taller than Fiona which can possibly intimidate the enemy even without an armor to fight with.

But Fiona's silent didn't go longer since her secretary finally came over with its Journalist husband saying "Finally found you Ms. Fiona let me introduce to you my Journalist Husband..."

Lorian didn't listen nor joined them anymore as she just started walking away from them already but she was suddenly stopped by two people's hand which happens to be the secretary and its Journalist husband saying "...we will never let you scam another people Ms. Lorian, and for now please cooperate and apologize to Ms. Fiona for causing mental damage for scamming them..."

They were forced to make her face Fiona "...you heard them Lorian, start apologizing to me~" Fiona said while smirking like she has won already while Lorian just gave her a confused look and said "...I didn't scam you and most of all I don't have to apologize to you Fiona" with hatred in her voice as they triggered her instantly.

Guests who are close in their area started wondering what is happening already as they look at the scene where Lorian is being handled by a couple "...Miss Lorian my team is already on the way you should be thankful how considerable Ms. Fiona is..."

Lorian's vision started getting blurry as she felt helpless in this situation wherein she's being wronged by these people she doesn't know, especially other people in the event are joining already gossiping and judging her around being held.

Fiona and this people doesn't care about how her depression started to be triggered as they're all selfish and judgmental which made Fiona confidently say "...you have only 2 options Lorian, apologize to me or-" Fiona started to say but someone suddenly cut her saying...

"Or else what...kill my wife in front of me?"
