"Are you alright baby?..."

Elix worriedly asked while getting closer to Lorian to give her a hug "...well..." she started as she wiped her tears and walked back to the kitchen, faced him with a fake smile and "...I'm alright!"

Elix didn't try to be nosy anymore as he understands her and most of all it's not his place to meddle with but he's still there to make her mood feels right in reality thru helping her bake "... you're definitely not a golddigger Lorian, you're absolutely a hard working sassy woman!" he complimented her while helping her massage the dough which made her chuckle and focused on baking.

That gift is screaming judgement that the person behind it thinks Lorian is a golddigger and as a revenge, he took some money to rip her interest at the same time? nah she is definitely not a golddigger and sure enough that person who gives her this gift is the only person who thinks negatively of her.

And who the hell is the sender anyway??

Lorian is done packing the freshly baked banana cheese bread pie already when Elix comes out of the room with his casual outfit "...I'm going on a date...will you be alright alone here?"

She looked at him and smiled teasingly "is that the buddy you met at that hotel?hmmm~" she teased him remembering what Margarita told her about Elix and that buddy at the hotel.

"wtf how do you know??" he was shocked that he's sure she would never guess it right but she did "...maybe I should cancel it" he started overthinking when she decided to be silent and didn't bother to tell him who told her so...

"Hey nooo...and you shouldn't be embarrassed especially that you didn't meet this buddy online but in person right ahead and that's so cute Elix!" she said while blushing, she's genuinely excited for him especially that this is in her favor if he successfully gets along so well with this buddy then she will never overthink that he's hitting or flirting with her seriously anymore because after what happened with Massimo and these men who try to take advantage of her? she's afraid of entertaining men now and she wouldn't like to hurt Elix if he likes her for real.

We all know Elix is just actually riding on the flirty call names like calling her 'baby' but he's not serious at all while Lorian was just trying to distract herself after some small heartbreaks.

Lorian came closer to him and pulled him towards the door "...you know what don't waste your handsome looks tonight and most of all never ever break that buddy's heart ok? now go and don't worry I will be perfectly fine alone here!" and closed the door already before he could make some excuses.

The next seconds...Lorian is finally alone inside her apartment while her phone suddenly rang with chat messages on her Facebook page saying...

CUSTOMER: where are our orders??

Lorian smiled as she doesn't have to be disappointed by this customer's attitude because she perfectly finished baking and packing their orders already so she just replied with a happy message...

CHEF LORIAN: I'll be on my way with your freshly baked banana bread cheese pie soon^-^

Then she goes to the table where all the orders are prepared already to recheck it for the last time as she has to deliver it soon "...hmmm you're all so perfectly baked!" she complimented proudly of her works while her phone continued receiving notifications which made her look at her phone screen where she saw a very big problem...

CUSTOMER CANCELED ORDER

"OMG you're so bad Jhona~" her secretary teased her with her attitude of canceling their order "...so you're definitely not joking about that woman" she added which made Jhona smirked in happiness of stepping on her former boss'...

"Yes and she definitely deserved that girl~" Fiona added who's been with them all this time inside the CEO's office of the company making gossips which is very unethical, anyways they're the boss already so it's no longer a crime in their hellish haven "...haha this what you're doing is definitely exciting but sorry to ask what did she do to you that made you do this things to her now?" the secretary became nosy asking this which made the two felt annoyed but...

Jhona started to look sad and is crying already while she said the answer saying "...She's a scammer and she's definitely gonna scam another company soon, and OUR company is one of this company she tried to scam huhuhu"

This btches definitely made the secretary believe that she's very sympathetic to Jhona and Fiona who's also looking sad already "...sorry to hear that but it's really good that you're able to not be scammed in the end right?"

The two stopped and later on started sobbing again while Jhona looked at Fiona with her scary eyes saying she should shut the secretary's mouth already "ahm yeah but isn't she a criminal so we should stop talking about her already..."

"That's correct so why don't we report her since you're one of the major victims?" the secretary didn't stop but became more nosy which almost annoyed the two but the Secretary added something that made their eyes twinkle...

"...My husband is a journalist and he can definitely help you report this scammer boss!"

LAURA: I don't know what to do anymore...

Lorian didn't bother to check if he red her message already as she put her phone on the floor where she's sitting depressively right now for an hour already after the customer cancelled their orders, this just triggered her depression which is now eating her again and all she had left is someone who she knew would listen to her.

Her phone chimes in for a message from the Cuddle dating app...

MASSIMO: what happened?? how are you? and please don't do something wrong to yourself.

Lorian read his message full of care that he even wished her to not do something wrong as she already told him before that she used to do wrong to herself whenever she's in a state of being depressed.

She looked above the message and found his old message reply to her last message the last time before she logged out of the app...

MASSIMO: That German guy is lucky to date such an innocent hard working woman like you Laura, anyways please take care, I'll be busy as well with my wife.

Lorian wiped her tears and started typing... everything seems pouring on her at a time and she's really helpless now especially that she spent her saved money which is supposed to be for this month's payment for her debt just to make this orders but they just throw it like a trash and now she doesn't have any options left but to be desperate asking...

LAURA: I'm in need of big amount of money and I'm willing to video call s*x with you Massimo.
