"But he will use his dirty tricks to drag you down Aurora. I know how low he can stoop to get his work done."

" So you don't have faith in me? "

"I do. I know very well how capable you are. But back stabbing? Dirty tricks? Targeting closed ones? What about these? He is good at those."

" I have learnt something when I got trained in the camp. Be good to the good ones and be cruel to the cruel ones. I don't mind stooping low if my opponent is doing so Antonia. I'm not a good person for an enemy remember that."

"I know." Antonia said sighing.

" Antonia, don't stress out. Be strong. He can be a monster but you don't need to be afraid of him anymore. You have got me, dad. Why are you scared? Don't worry for me."

Antonia smiled brightly this time.

Lucas got inside his room and sat on his bed. He was devastated after hearing Antonia's words. He didn't know what to do now. His heart was paining. His friends came inside and sat beside him. They didn't say anything to him. They were all quietly observing Lucas.

After some moment Sofia knocked on the door. All four of them looked at her. Sofia came in.

" You should apply ice pack on your cheek Lucas." Sofia said sitting next to him and handing him an ice pack. Lucas didn't take it.

" It will sting more. Please take it." Sofia again said. This time she put it on his hand. Lucas hold it.

Others were sadly looking at them.

" I know you are hurting inside. It's okay to let yourself cry sometime you know? You will feel light." Sofia said softly putting her hand on his shoulder.

" Did I do something wrong? Is she fine? Did I trigger her?" Lucas mumbled.

" You are still thinking about her after she broke your heart just like a toy?" Harry said with disbelief.

Sofia smiled sadly. " You didn't do anything wrong. Antonia is the one who is wrong here. Her past life is not so good Lucas. I don't know what happened today to make her go this much violent again but even if she has conditions that doesn't mean what she did is okay." She said.

" Even if she has a bad past, that doesn't give her right to insult him like that, to break him like that." Leo said.

" I agree to that. What she did to Lucas is wrong in every way. But I'm sure it's not intentional. I hope you have known Antonia this much by this time."

" It's intentional. She doesn't want me around her. She doesn't want to return my love. It's okay. I'll not disturb her anymore. I'll never try to cross my limit ever again. I'm just an outside and I'll stay here rest of the days just like that. She doesn't need to love me and as I suffocate her, I won't show my love anymore." Lucas said pitting the ice pack on his face. He hissed in pain.

" It's between two of you buddy. We won't meddle into your relation. We will support you in anything just remember that. We will always have each other no matter what. If she doesn't understand your love, it's her loss. She is going to lose a gem." Charlie said.

" Antonia doesn't want to let anyone be in her cursed life. That's what she says every time uncle asks her to get a boyfriend. Even today she told me you deserve someone better, not a dirt like her. She has her own reasons not to accept you Lucas. There is nothing wrong with you remember that." Sofia said sadly smiling.

" Is it kind of drama or what? Why will someone think herself a dirt bad or cursed?" Leo said feeling irritated.

" Not everyone has a good and smooth childhood or life like us Leo. There are many people around you who has dark memories that you won't even be able to think of. Take Aurora as an example. Did you ever thought at first she is like this?" Sofia said looking at her boyfriend.

Charlie understood this time. Antonia must have some sort of dark memories just like Aurora. That's why she is trying to push away Lucas.

" We can understand Sofia. But that doesn't give her the right to slap him and insult him like that." Harry said.

" We can accept the fact that she was triggered and her violence is the reason of that. But will she accept Lucas after calming down? No right? Apology isn't even worthy in this type of insult Sofia. I'm not hating her but what she did is really inhuman and unacceptable." Charlie said.

"No need to say this much things. She has said she is unconformable around me that's enough. I won't disturb her anymore. She needs peace and I'll give that to her. Even if I die without her presence in my life, I'll not go to her and beg for my love. Her comfort is my main target. I'll be happy if she is happy and if her happiness is truly without me then be like it." Lucas said sighing.

Sofia was about to say something but Lucas again spoke.

" Can you guys leave me alone? I want to stay alone for sometime. Don't worry. I won't do anything recklessly. Trust me. I just need to adjust with everything little by little and I want to do it alone." Lucas said looking at his friends.

Everyone sighed but did as Lucas wished for.

"Call us if you need anyone." Charlie said and all of them came out of the room.

Lucas lied down in exhaustion. Tears started forming in his eyes. Soon he started crying loudly. " Why God? Why are you being cruel to him?

Why me God? This is the first time I have fallen hard for someone and I can't have that person for myself? Why are you punishing me God? What wrong did I do? Why can't I have her in my life? Am I that bad? Why god!" He kept saying those and crying.
